Re: Noesis script for Guild Wars 2 broken in current Noesis
from time to time I've a look at skeletons in different threads. Here it's 00009978.pf skeleton file with this mesh contained: GW2-09978-skel.JPG (Remember: it's a skeleton file, so the mesh is not too nice. :D ) Once I got the skeleton displayed (if so) maybe I'll find another patch for the above m...

Re: Ni No Kuni - 3D Model fileformats
It would be nice to have a p3msk sample to try out your script. :) When hovering the mouse over "OpenGPU" the tooltip says: "Open Source Computer Graphics Community". OpenSource.JPG Is there any "open source Ni No Kuni"? (I'm just curious, or is the tooltip info simply ...

Re: Unity3d CustomAssetBundle
, also do you think It's possible to retrieve models and animations with this? I've checked the files vehicle_hovercarC and Editable Poly and I can't seem to find a decent point cloud. also would It help if i sent you some more bundles? Thx, no. I can't spend more than 5 minutes per model, 15 minut...

same edits as I did?avicii wrote:Real problem: I did edit to dds but not it didn't work. after doing like image.
You'll have to use DXTbmp to load the dds then since the header is not correct, as I wrote.
It's just a quickhack don't have the time for a full analysis, sry.

Re: Unity3d CustomAssetBundle
but btw the broken images, it is a very time consuming task, averaging like 15-25 minutes per image (taking, adding hex data) is what you did easier? depends on. If you load an extracted file into TexureFinder such as vehicle_hoverboard (from CustomAssetBundle-CharacterSelection_wear_vehicle ) and s...

Re: Unity3d CustomAssetBundle
I'm missing the link to aluigi's script. You could determine the files' structure like this (left part of pic): CustomAssetBundle.JPG I couldn't get a decent point cloud from the none-texture data. So don't know if it's vertices. edit: from your other thread I read: "I managed to get these corr...

Alien Isolation - omodel - hex2obj
(I know there's another huge thread on Alien Isolation.) But if you're interested in static meshes only here's a simpler approach using hex2obj (view link in my sig): entry447_omodel.JPG (got the omodel sample from here:) http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=12079&p=101173#p101173

Re: Help with a3x Format needed
By the way, shakotay, in your tutorial it says 0x3981 - 0xE 84 = 0x2B39 at some point. If you've got a bit of experience it's easy to spot the error, but for a beginner that might be impossible to understand. thank you very much for reporting. Yeah, it's 0xE 48 . Would give you 3 thx if I could. :D...

Re: Help with a3x Format needed
If someone knows of an algorithm to get rid of the redundant vertices, let me know. don't know about an algo. Maybe dividing up in submeshes can help: Buick_Centurion_1973_submeshes.JPG (First I thought it's just the different LODs, but seems it's not.) (hex2obj creates a submesh every 500 faces bu...

Even with university I got a ton of time on my hands, I'll definitely try this out. yeah, that was the time when life was sooo easy. :D Is there a specific place or link where I can get those tools? I tried searching but only found technical problem forum threads about them. I'm not too sure but gu...

Re: Havok binary files
So it's basically a formula used to convert binary values to numbers? Because I think I saw something related to that. We have an insane amount of information that we were incredibly lucky to get, I'm certain it's in there somewhere. yeah, we would need the formulae or we could use the Havok Conten...

Re: Havok binary files
What exactly is that process? If I knew exactly about uncompressing hkaSplineCompressedAnimations we wouldn't talk here, would we? :) Think of a zipped file. You'll need to know the decompression algo to decompress it. Or look here (NOT hkx related): http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t...
