Re: Ripping models from Zone of the Enders PS2?
I tried doing the stuff for the PC version the other person linked to but honestly wasnt able to figure it out at all and got nowhere. That you "got nowhere" doesn't mean it does not work. :D (except for the "orbital frames", maybe...) There's even pictures for explanation: and ...

Re: Gameloft BDAE/TGA files
I saw a lot of related content on the forum, but it seems that it doesn't match this version of bdae. Hi, using hex2obj usually matches for bdae :D : (first sub mesh only) dragon_ancient_divine_energy-bdae.png It's relative face indices here, so some more work to do... (Means next FI block starts w...

Yeah, it's super easy to import a point cloud (after doing some replacements, n->vn, t->vt and some deletions):mrmaller1905 wrote: ↑Sat May 21, 2022 7:51 pmIt seems that *.xmod files from Midnight Club II are in an ASCII format.
. (Someone needs to add face indices; maybe auto created ones would do.)

Re: Extraction of sprite sheet from mobile game
Hi everyone, first post here and I wished it wasn't to ask things, but here we are. I've extracted the files of a game using apktool searching for the sprite sheet of the characters, but stumbled upon a wall of encrypted files that I just have no clue on how to pass. Could anyone here help me on ho...

Re: Ridge Racer 6 .DAT file
Hey shakotay2, i hope you didn't spent too much of your time on this Hey mono24, no, not really. :D (Plus I had to do it anyway to get an idea of the list.) as its already reversed entirely i believe by the following dev. https://github.com/Nenkai/RRUnpacker Well, I thought it was an unpacker for ....

Re: Ridge Racer 6 .DAT file
Well, there's a list of addresses/counts before the tri strips block which hex2obj doesn't support. So I had to create H2O files manually using the list values. Used 13 entries only (out of 69). Strangely the created partial model looks worse than the auto created one. (Though the later used the ful...

It clearly reads: "Just unpack the three zips (part 2 and three see following posts)..."SpongeBotTronPants wrote: ↑Sat Jan 07, 2023 6:38 pmAlso, can I get the Hex2OBJ latest update in a zip file, without errors? Because I used the wrong version and it gave me "wordpad.exe is missing."

That sample was uploaded already, around 1st of September 2021, iirc. Don't see a reason why to care for it again.

Re: WRC 10 .P3D MODELS
Hi, Shakotay) yes, I noticed that too. perhaps this is done intentionally to confuse the "readers" of the code. Haha, really? (Why should he have done so? :D ) An obvious reason is how python is "constructed". Many people praise it for its flexibility in handling lists, tu...

Re: WRC 10 .P3D MODELS
Hi Durik, really cool! 8) I always asked myself WHY these old blender scripts are so complicated. It's lines like this one (see if tag== 'NoHe') which I find totally annoying: b=g.word(g.i(1)[0])[-25:]) (Finally I end up with spamming them with dozens of print commands to understand what the c...
