Re: 3d model question
that's not correct: Noesis for example can import Playstation All Stars *.cskn models iirc. The problem is that it's harder to create tools for console games than for pc games. You can't simply run your own exe file on consoles. For them you're often forced to use workarounds for analysing like emul...

Re: .tex files from unity.bms
I have no idea what this is... R8G8B8? (first 56 bytes): 2A 03 00 00 2A 03 00 00 AC 08 1E 00 03 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 01 00 00 00 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 01 00 00 00 AC 08 1E 00 Can you point me in the right direction on how to convert those types of ....

Re: [REQ] Bloodnet .pl files
(interesting thought with the histogram but I think we'd need an atlas of histograms for different compression algos to decide which one might be used here) In the pic of intrface.pl you see the bytes for menu1 (highlighted) and menu2 (from 0x6CBE to 6D46). menu1,menu2.JPG It would help if we knew t...

Re: [HELP] Noesis Mesh Exporter
Afaik you can export every format supported by Noesis as obj or fbx for example.
Or do you mean an export for reimport into the game?

Re: WildStar Data Mining
So shakotay2, can you give me a push in the right direction, I used an earlier version which is called Wildstar browser, it allows me to browse the archive files, and export the files, one by one, but when I open them they are all starting with 5D 00 00 00 I presume they are compressed? So you say ...

Re: WildStar Data Mining
@T.: thx for the link - appreciated! @jmgg: do you have an m3 sample for me that causes a crash? Thank you for the sample, jmgg! As for the the code the models seem to be handled here: if (String::toLower(wp.extension()) == L".m3" && params.m3AsObj) { M3Model model(path, file); mod...

Re: The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls [ios/android/unity]
not too hard to get a mesh from an uncompressed lz4 model file:
edit: textures seem to be in the model file.

hi, seems you're not too lucky with your requests...
For this one I simply fail to download your uploaded rar file - all I get is nasty popup windows.

Re: MaxScript snippets # processing multiple model files #
hah, two years later! :D that's a good idea, TM :) but poor people in this poor forum (me included) aren't smart enough to support such good ideas... I'd like to show how to process multiple files with a maxscript (I'm not too familiar with ms so don't blame me). Dunno if I ever will code the 2nd pa...

Re: Saint Seiya Soldier's Soul .emo files
hmm, that's strange - piecemonteeSF4explorerV0.37b seems to affect the correct byte when switching off the body_skin in ANT_02.emo . You might check this for your character emo file. SF4_switching_body_OFF.JPG For ANT_02.emo you could try setting the byte at 0x153C4 to 00 (instead of the one at 0x15...

Re: Saint Seiya Soldier's Soul .emo files
so I guess I will wait for a working tool. most preferred option of most users :D Looking at the emo it seems to be a solvable problem. Just analyze the complete emo file creating objs from all submeshes then try to find out where the changed byte to be placed in the emo file. Using hex2obj [view l...
