I passed the filename as a parameter to the exe iirc.

Did you check your FSB file to start with 46 53 42 35 01 (FSB5)?

Re: FFXIV:ARR - Models & Animations

Here is another model with legs, arms, a head, and some other bits and pieces: well, this one has kosi, kubi, sako. :D There are hundreds of models that I can extract if you'd like, would just take a bit of time. I'd need one only, but with "arm" and "leg" as bone names, please....

Re: Dragon's Dogma PC files

that was better but I needed to uncompress item0763_b_ID.arc to fully understand what you meant: there's a 17 kB .tex file contained. Did you notice that there's 32 kB of zeroes in that arc? So it's a little bit unlikely that there's other files contained in there. This might be worth a try: just co...

Re: Dragon's Dogma PC files

Hey! Short story in a nutshell, I'm trying to do a modelswap and stuff doesn't work because the game is trying to open a file I don't want it to open because it results in a crash. I tracked the game accessing another file when equipping the piece in question but when extracting it I only get a tex...

Re: [X360] Star Wars Battlefront III pre-alpha (*.rax)

At 0xF690 it looks like uvs; size UVB= 4, (WordUV for preview, SaveAs mesh : ShortALL): ob_rax_uvs.jpg i thought at first this was using half float UVs with short all for which there is no switch in H2O One may think it's simple to add a combination such as verts shorts, uvs HF, but it would be more...

Re: Outlast: Miles Upshur's head model, extracted, need hel

I don't know how to start a texture map from scratch, so I really need someone to UV-unwrap it, There's dozens of (head) unwrapping tutorials in the web - why not use one of them? (A problem I can remember is the setting of seams . Sometimes intuition seems to be required.) The face is completely u...

Ninja Ripper and DX3DRipper not working :( could you explain. please, why we'd need such? From the character creator's description (on the link you gave) it says: "you can save and export the character file and later import it in the closed beta client or final game". Did you save a chara...

Re: Noesis Plugin Hello World?

Are there any good resources or documentation for getting started with writing Noesis plugins (either c or python)? Not what you may think of. For python read __NPReadMe.txt, for C there's pluginshare.h which can give you an overview of functions. There's also some valuable info spread over the Xen...

Re: Importing .STCK animation - We need your help!

cross fingers? Well, I'm stuck atm and this ate way too much of my lifetime today. The rotations are no quaternions in Misty's _Walk.stck . So I ignored them as well as those indices. As a consequence for so much ignorance Misty's just shrinking vertically instead of walking: Misty_Walk.JPG b...

Re: Importing .STCK animation - We need your help!

Maybe every two frames should be rotation and transition of a certain bone, that's true for most animation formats (you did not look into the script, did you? :D ) btw: wouldn't call it "frames", it's animation data blocks. One frame in the transition data block, 17 frames in the rotation...

Re: Importing .STCK animation - We need your help!

17 seems to repeat twice, don't know how much that meatters: great! Doesn't matter, I guess. That's a very good starting point, imho. Will try to adjust the script - but don't expect too much. And don't expect it too soon. (: edit: well, forget everything what I said about frame interpolating and n...
