thx - did you check those dat files or use hex2obj on them?
On a quick glance I don't see any skeleton data in them.

Re: Loons: Fight for the Fame .dxb
first of all it's required to give the file some structure - otherwise analysing will end up in a waste of life and time
because there's much skeleton data (assumed, matrices?).
Getting proper point clouds is the key to get the mesh finally.
Good luck.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2 extraction
Help me or don't but you don't have to be so damned rude about it. apologies! :) I was just a little bit tired of such posts. And I didn't expect you to return ever. :D If you uploaded the trb in question I could have a look at. (I suppose Noesis doesn't support PC version and there's no simple sol...

well, seems I completly missed what your problem was.
I thought the deepenings should be turned up.

Re: Final Fantasy XIII-2 extraction
I managed to decrypt the file lists and extract the raw .trb files but I can't view them in Noesis or anything else I've found. which version of Noesis did you use? .trb is a "known file format" in Noesis since many months. Which error message arouse? which trb did you try? PC or console ...

Re: Strange looking model
depends on your 3D app. From blender I know you can flip ("standard") normals there. Instead of flipping bump normals I'd inverse the bump map (invert colors, black to white and w to b or google for it). (If you understand the 3D data in the model file you could multiply the bump normals w...

Re: Might and Magic X Legacy
static mesh format is the same as for characters; we'd need a character model file for skeleton (might be >100 kB)

Re: Might and Magic X Legacy
you won't expect someone to download 124 MB of samples, do you? Also for animations follow (my) "unwritten rules", please. upload an animation sample file (<100 kB if possible) upload suiting skeleton tell number of bones, if possible (The more infos you provide the more likely someone wil...

Re: Space Channel 5 Part 2 (PC) MTP Animation file: Help nee
use the sequence E0033D00 to give the walk_x.mtp file a structure. There's 112 finds, maybe 112 frames, each frame with data for 61 bones (just a wild guess). Question is how to make sense out of the data (offset 0xC8; bone 0, bone 1): 00 00 01 00 00 00 00 80 1C 53 2E 41 13 F3 2C BB 01 00 02 00 27 4...

In my experience nobody cares for such animation requests.
You don't even tell us the number of bones.
Uploading a suiting skeleton will increase chances that somebody will look at.

Re: Extracting simple models
First of all: start with 200 vertices that obviously form a part of a mesh. 2ndly: look at the face indices - you need to understand that those are very unlikely to build faces f 5 1 10461 f 1 166 1 Without having an understanding how 3D meshes are built you will fail. Start any 3D app, blender for ...

Re: Skeleton parsing help
I'm having trouble reading this skeleton file. It's not like the files I've seen before in recent titles but often in older ps2 titles. Help would be appreciated. I know you're a skeleton expert and I can't offer a solution but I'd like to pick up this opportunity to build some kind of "gettin...
