Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

Henessey Venom : error message : more than one V block! renewed the -jm6 link. Hopefully that "v block" error should have vanished now. (edit: forget about -jm6, use -jm7 instead) Fiat Abarth 595 68 : problem is the body, this time always give message : a more than 15 submeshes - break. y...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

but there are some cars that simply don't want to be converted, as for example the AMC Rebel "the machine", which make every H20 version crashing, and lead to an incomplete obj. I'd need the modelbins in question to check what is causing the problem. ahh c, and idk if you've seen my plugi...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

@SoniKalien: what happened to the images in your post? yeah the command line params need to be changed, what language is it written in? it's C (exe as a GUI app) dragging the modelbins.txt into the exe would work? "dragging o nto" works for console applications only, afair. It's possible t...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

I was thinking about command line parameters, or using the exe in a batch, but found it less important. Separate obj files to be created for Exterior, Interior and _library (CAD_ATSV_16) when parsing a scene- modelbins.txt for example would make more sense to me. The more important things on the tod...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)

fixed a bug with Aston Martin Vulcan (ast_vulcan_16), body_a.modelbin, reported by SonyKalien; thx! Be aware of such lines in the obj files: # body_a.modelbin, # uv-sizes 24 24 32 32 28 32 32 32 32 36 36 which should help to decide which uv offsets to choose. There's 11 uv blocks. The first one has ...

Re: Extracting simple models

but when i want find the beginning and the end of vertex address, I dont know what to do :( , maybe i need learn more of Hex signature you surely do! :) It's a matter of some basic understanding, finding patterns and simple math: The face indices' (FIs) list is at 0x29160 - 0x2F276, words assumed (...

Re: Sudden Attack - Noesis Script Creation

Is #rapi.rpgBindUV1BufferOfs() still commented out in your code? delete the # then (which disables the line from being "executed", so it's just a comment) I'd suggest to read chrrox' Noesis tutorial to gain more understanding otherwise you'll fall from one trouble into the other, I guess. ...

Re: Blades of time Extraction Tools

Hi Paps,
I'm not the author of the script, Szkaradek123 is.
Also python is not my preferred language (in fact I really hate it :D ) so I can't help to patch this complex script, sorry.

Re: Sudden Attack - Noesis Script Creation

I've added this in finale00's Zuonline script: in def parse_vertices(self, numVerts, meshType): elif meshType == 8: vertBuff = self.inFile.readBytes(numVerts * 68) rapi.rpgBindPositionBufferOfs(vertBuff, noesis.RPGEODATA_FLOAT, 68, 0) rapi.rpgBindNormalBufferOfs(vertBuff, noesis.RPGEODATA_FLOAT, 68,...

Re: Sudden Attack - Noesis Script Creation

A working script for ltb (except for meshtype 8, vstride 68) was from finale00 , so I guess, it would be nice to mention him. The # parts are the lines I tried to add in to have UVs work which are most likely wrong. The mesh loads correctly, it just doesn't have any UVs. Introduce an additional mesh...
