Re: Extracting simple models
hex2obj exes are NOT working standalone, so for zips with exe-only you need the files in this zip as a base , too: ---------- version 0.24e ---------- hex2obj_0.24e.zip or ---------- >>> version 0.24c <<< ---------- hex2obj_0.24c.zip Copy the lastest exe to the unzipped folder then. ( btw: wordpad.e...

But the free version doesn't use unsigned shorts, as I wrote, so here's an obj file with hex2obj data and face indices from MR (was the quickest way to get them):

Re: Planet Hot Wheels .MXS files
:( Can you tell me how you can understand where is the meshes inside? (I open the .mxs file with Hex Workshop) I don't have the time for detailed explanations, sorry. There's tutorials for such. (view link in my sig). Maybe someone takes up the task and writes a script; the format looks simple (des...

Re: [release] Ratchet & Clank PS3 model extractor
well, I need to check the exe file before. Virustotal tells me there's two threats:
Bkav W32.HfsIemusi.CA2C 20180807
Qihoo-360 HEUR/QVM02.0.Malware.Gen 20180809
The later is known to me for giving me false positives on some of my codeblock created exes.
But two alarms is one too many, I guess.

Re: Planet Hot Wheels .MXS files
How did you do it??? have you ripped or open the file?? HOW??? :D I used hex2obj (view 2nd link in my sig). And what do you mean with "I guess we need to apply some scaling factors(s) from here"? I mean, where you use the code/script?? For example *TM_SCALEAXIS -0.19394371 -0.95159769 0.2...

Re: Planet Hot Wheels .MXS files
I tryed to ripping they with 3D Ripper DX, 3D Ripper, Ninjaripper, OGLE, etc. but without success. yeah, some formats seem to be a little bit tricky for ripping... :D Then some basic 3D knowledges are to come in handy: 63corvette.jpg I guess we need to apply some scaling factors(s) from here: *NODE...

Re: Make_obj (C source)
thanks for reporting! :) This will take some time to fix. You might use this H2O file with hex2obj (view 2nd link in my sig) to get that mbg mesh: 0x182E5 2010 Vb1 94 17 0x326 1045 120000 0x0 255 ---------------------- I've added autocorrection for SuperHeroGen mbg files to the attached zip in the p...

Re: Extracting simple models
I do agree — I found that "alphabet" myself many years ago. Unfortunately knowing that info will lead nowhere within h2o well, once again, this steps leads you to the maximum face index which is generally identical with the vertex count. The vertex count (vc) together with the size of the...

Re: hun dun zhi men 3ds and noesis importer ?
Format is simple so why not?melez121 wrote:thank you my friend. but I have no idea about the use of Hex2Obj I've just started to model work. Is it possible to pour it into MS?
But you'll need someone with leisure and interest to create a maxscript or a Noesis python script.

Re: hun dun zhi men 3ds and noesis importer ?
I generally don't start with creating importers.melez121 wrote:Do you have any importer for hun dun zhi men game? please help.
But you might have a look how it looks (using hex2obj, view links in my sig):
