Is there also names scattered in there? Search for "MIP_" for example in 96.mesh gives 212 findings. Or are the positionvalues just randomly placed? You mean that "position data"? There's some "suspects"; I'll try that out when I have time well, I always know this scri...

In case you used only a .mesh (and no other files) with the "rdtechladys guide on ripping ps2 games" I'd say 'yes'.

I gave it a try with rdtechladys guide on ripping ps2 games.....the models always come out distorted and double just slightly above themselfes......so it would take forever to get them right and clean....just to have something not very ideal or close to the original... So the distorted objects have...

nope.
I usually don't care for unity3D model extraction because there's dozens of threads about it and some tools, iirc.and you have idea of how to extract models in unity3D

I haven't got a 00000002.dat :!: the files stars with 0000cad0.dat :? And... how I understand where are the mesh? (yes, I'm not very into hex... :roll: ) because I tried to open the 0000cad0.dat file with Hex Editor Neo and give me this: read the tutorial (tut button in hex2obj ). Try to understand...

Start loading 00000002.dat (unzipped from the Car1A.bgv) into hex2obj. Get the mesh (File/SaveAs mesh).
Then check other .dat files. That's how I'd do it.

It's for decomressing files wtih zipped data blocks contained.
