Uhm, so there is a good chance for us to get the real thing without having to recreate the hair all the time (and getting a crappy result anyway)? If by 'overlapping faces' you mean something like textured meshes...

I've got a question though... is hair in Syndicate just the same as Unity (and thus not extractable due to shaders and all) or is the game using meshes with additional effects this time?

The tool is currently offline due to the issues MDA already explained. It will be back online once he manages to fix those.

How do you guys even get the Analyzer to work? I get no HUD overlay and shortcut keys dont do anything :< You should be able to run the game through the GPA Monitor capture. MDA is currently busy and I think he's still working on a fix for the tool due to what happened recently, but I do hope this game will get its own support as well :) Also, I played a little bit and noticed the hair looks different from Unity... it seems like they switched back to standard meshe...

Hey guys :) Just wanted to let you know that I got Syndicate and immediatly tried to load the files using Unity's format to see if it was kinda compatible or not. I think it's not 'cause when I load the packages clicking on the + ARchive_neXt crashes (unless I'm doing something wrong to begin with)....

It seems to work with Intel Frame Analyzer, however the last time I tried there was an issue with the latest Nvidia drivers and the program crashed. I need to try again and see if they fixed it...

Hair is not available, it seems. They used a different method and not their common meshes + textures, you can only get outlines with the tool and eventually create the hair yourself, like I did. It won't be perfect and certainly not as good as the original one, but there's no other option at the mom...
