Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Heh, Well this topic is dead, lol. May as well zombify it for a second. I have written a couple of utilities for assistance with DOAX3 Vita content. http://www.mediafire.com/file/3ad1x1gpidsgd5i/DOAX3_Vita_GXT_Ripper_V1.0.zip http://www.mediafire.com/file/iextc19lkc88n94/DOAX3_Vita_Suit_Helper_V1.0....

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Not sure how much help I am, I still don't know anything about the cpf or MCAPack. Since doutoku released & updated tools, I haven't done much research in a long time. Like Ros said, in most cases people just replicate objects and import the parameters they want from other materials or costumes. Rea...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

This thread's been dead for a while since people have been operating from different forums. Do you have personal reason for doing a 3dsmax script? There have been nearly complete Blender tools for almost a year now for importing TMC's and even more recently animations. They're quite thorough other t...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Is there any command line tool or BMS script to just decrypt/encrypt extracted files? Archive Tool is cool, but GUI is not always an option. I don't think there has been command line only since Xbox versions of 5/5U. Mostly apps have been designed for user friendliness over speed. LNK Reshuffle can...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

I've tried working on the x3 files a couple of times. I actually did another test again today on a different costume hoping that maybe I overlooked something a few months ago. I ended up with the same 'starfish' like result with an Ayane costume when importing into Blender. Noesis still cannot open ...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Yeah, it is a bummer that they are low poly, but it's better than nothing until we see the PS4 resources made available which I still suspect will be a while. Animation is a tough bit as it is, so perhaps it was too intimidating. I don't know anything about the motion data. The only advantage I see ...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Vita models are extractable. I was able to get a model imported into Blender using the TMC Importer, but there are some snags. The Noesis script does not work, and even with what I figured out there are still some index issues similar to our old console starfish problems. Something is misaligned wit...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@SleepySea, nice job. Sounds like those are handy. Hopefully this doesn't come as a buzz kill unless that ends up being a more efficient method. Do you use your tools in conjunction with Blender and/or the tmcmesh import/export method? Some of the existing scripts / plugins may overlap some function...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Thanks, zaykho, about half. I'm missing a file from what I've gathered by doing some googling. :( Hi ToonLink, There's a couple of different solutions. You can either use a tool called LNK Reshuffle which will replace files in the core game files, or you can use a DLC Tool to re package custom DLC f...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

How's everyone doing? I recently got interested in DOA5 modding again after a long hiatus and made a character transformer tool out of curiosity that turned into a few days of coding frenzy. I've finally made it work pretty well, and it seems to be in a relatively stable state to be used as a fun t...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Thanks, that did it. Modding sure is easier on PC, but keeping up with apps & updates is a pain compared to the Xbox days, lol. Back then it was just get the DLC and wait for someone to post the Title Update XD

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Mine would not let me extract, and it is likely because I don't have the hot fix. It hasn't been updated since hotfix 3. I tried lookin on sfxt, but didn't know which thread I was lookin for.

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Thanks, bbb! Good to know about the mesh reactor includes. I think tool creator's have surpassed my knowledge by far, so it's actually a good thing that I can free up time for other projects I'm working on. After about 3 years straight of doa modding, I'm due for a small break, lol. I'm working on s...
