Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Finally bothered to look at other modding sites. Information scattered around net (even japanese community is revived), but for now it looks like there is only discussion about content that's developed in this (and preceding) thread. Also, it turns that this forum now requires donation for new regi...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Conversion is done for the HieLay / BnOfsMtx patcher. It does both automatically this time. I didn't see the benefit of splitting the functions for now. It will update the bone heirachy stuff & bone offset matrix stuff in the source model with that of the target one. Not much really to explain b...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

right... its just I lost steam/motivation when I was looking into creating new models from scratch for 360. Though in terms of the format research everything should be fine, again just a matter of me not being a lazy bastard i guess if I'm feelin it maybe I'll try not to make it "useless, agai...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

ok what is this, peeps using my old 360 vertex editor script to edit 360 models then copy and paste the new float range into the pc files lol Don't suppose your interested in updating it to PC or making modifications to it? ;) Like lsc said, both the Parser & the Injector work really well. Plus...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

I decided to get my hands dirty with some practice projects. I saw a tutorial over at GVZ on how to convert 360 model vertices to PC model which caught my attention. It seems like a great way to get started on making some basic mods since 360 tools are more complete. I have created a GUI tool aimed...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Currently I'm moving my stuff to C#/.NET 4.0, also there is idea to create app for tmc tinkering (e.g. disable reference to particular mesh group or set transparency flag for material). As for object rotater - I never got my hands on the original script. As far as I understand it fixes issues with ...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

I have been silently following this thread for a few days now, and what you guys have been doing is very fascinating. I am completely new to the game modding scene, but I have roughly been able to follow the general discussion and have understanding of various discussion topics such as Endianness a...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

No need to be rude I know it's more difficult and I appreciate what you are saying I just figured that since 360 models can be converted to PC perhaps the knowledge that you clever guys have learned may make it easier. If you look on the 360ISO site there was loads of interest in this and they succ...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@Darko, Nice, looks like it converted well! XD *** How far are we away from being able to convert PC models to Xbox 360 models Depends on how much progress you've made so far. I think we're running out of polite ways to say this... "Probably not going to happen for a while" Since 360 is re...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

@sf234 What's your next project? If you aren't in the middle of a big one any chance you convert the object rotater that b0ny made... OR if you ran across the information with the Noesis plugin update, clarify if PC models still have the object rotation matrix issue? Ayane_DLCU_004 & COS_002 (an...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Would anyone be so kind and tell me where to find "blp converter" (for Xbox 360 not PC) ? I can't find it.. and searching the forum doesn't help.. http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=6392&start=1215 One of the last posts. Does anyone know what page I can find the new impo...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Thanks, sounds useful. How do I run it exactly? I tried with python but it doesn't work, same with noesis. Yep, LSC explained how to use the actual file. If you mean how to get the data though, that's a bit more involved with finding vertices in hex and saving them into text files. Feel free to ask...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

Ok, as promised: MeshWarp. It's still a bit hands on and requires ripping the verts from 360 & PC containers manually for each group, but it does work stand alone. I've tested it with a model having multiple mesh objects adjusted even of different buffer length. I included a read me this time. U...

Re: Dead or Alive series formats and tools

are there any existing xbox 360 mods for DOA5LR if so where can i find them? That's what I was saying, that there are not any major resources for 360 mods, at least with this community. You'd have to try 360iso or something. Unless someone PM's you with some crazy resource, I wouldn't hold your bre...
