Re: The future of the forum: Ideas, suggestions and general.

I've definitely put <insert Xentax related forums/apps/stuff here> to the test on games in the past, but frankly have found it somewhat lacking in terms of resolving my issues with newer games. Modding in general is catching on, so a lot of newer games come with tools to do just that. Where Xentax c...

Re: [Question] Looking to learn...

So in all honest opinion, which would be the best for me to begin with? Would you recommend C++ as a starting language, or perhaps something a little more basic and eventually work my way up? So you can see the extent of wasted time, here is an image cap I just took of Raptr. I played Cookie Clicke...

Re: [Question] Looking to learn...

When it comes to learning programming and scripting languages, what you choose to learn will depend greatly upon what you intend to do with it. C++ and LUA are great for game design and modding. C#, VB and VB#, and a few others are great for designing desktop applications (specifically for Windows -...

Hi Dante! Welcome to Xentax :) I'm looking at starting a new learning project and so far I haven't advertised it anywhere but on facebook to my friends. If it's something that might interest you, then I could definitely use some help. Details follow :) I think I'll need the most help with 3D texture...

Re: Drakensang .NPK Containerformat

I'm downloading Nebula right now to see if it comes with a packer/unpacker. What other news might there be in this area?

Re: Header Contest 2008 - Post your votes here!

I would include 10, but I think it has to many Nintendo character. Ditto, but I'm going to include it anyway simply because it's the best design - just replace the characters with a better variety (some from Xbox, PS, and an exclusively PC character too). Votes in order best first: 1. (10), 2. (35)...

Re: Some help for "Sacred" GRN (model) files ?

I'm already able to extract the vertexs (vertices ?) from any GRN files from Sacred (and Sacred +). I can also extract all textures. But since I'm not very good at 3D, I'm asking for help. For those who are interested in decoding the Models (not the Motions), I have made this zip (2.46 MB). It cont...
