Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Alright, figured out how those LUAs are crypted, Great work. emoose, have you generated any of the fpk names for the dictionary using the methods used in TppPacklist.lua:MakeDefaultMissionAreaPackPath and AddFOBLayoutPack? Couldn't be sure since you have enough of the fpks that I didn't check if an...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
All the lua files in PC qars should be accounted for, but there might be some in fpk files that need a dictionary to look them up, not sure if TPP needs that though since only a few files in GZ did afaik. There's a few MGO luas in the console qars that aren't named too, but it's doubtful anyone wou...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
hey someone can tell me how to modify items name in the spanish version? Likely in the .lng files, which are in .fpk files, which are in .dat files. Relatively easy on the modding scale thanks to all the great tools by the lads here, but enough steps that it takes some effort, and your request bein...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Ah, now I understand why my prior backup didn't work. TPP actually uses the ground zeros save folder - game id 311340, it's own save folder - id 287700 - does have save files, but I guess they're some kind of backup. The graphics config - TPP_GRAPHICS_CONFIG is read from TPPs save folder, not GZ, bu...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Sergeanur did write there were some compiled lua files back in Ground Zeros, but no one has weighed in on what's up with the MGSV .fpk luas. If they are compiled then I think there's something else done to them too because luadec51 (MGSV uses lua5.1) can not even recognize them. Also the usual conve...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
My main hunting at the moment is to get some kind of custom text output via lua code. There's plenty of references to print functions, but they all seem to be for debug builds of the game executable (likewise standard lui file io calls seem locked down), can't even find strings for the lua function ...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Ah forgot to edit the inf line from data1/ to 01/ for QAR tool, can now get it packed (though qar tool is pretty crash happy when it doesnt find what it's expecting). Also Gztool doesn't have this part of the path so thought maybe thats an issue there, or I'm doing something stupid there too lol. An...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
So... the patch system added in the last.. patch. Any discussion? Two .dat/qars in 'master/0/'. 01.dat is empty. Couldn't get either tool to add a file to the empty 01.dat (gztool did nothing, said nothing, qartool crashed), but adding a (lua) file that wasn't previously in 00.dat worked using gztoo...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
GzsTool works fine for me. But having trouble with LangTool. Won't run on the .lng2 files unless I renamed them to .lng, and even when I do the tool crashes with Unhandled Exception: System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Non-negative number required. Guessing a change in format from lng and langtool d...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Here's some more names for the qar dictionary Sergeanur, manually scrounged from the lua files as I was perusing them. That puts me down to 6 unknown .lua files in data1.dat, can you/anyone else confirm? http://pastebin.com/jK27pyHm Also, to repeat my earlier post, there's some odd code in 5cdf10bda...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Looking at some lua files and they seem pretty borked. From 5cdf10bda663, the first 7 lines. local e={} local i=Tpp.IsTypeFunc local n=Tpp.IsTypeTable local i=Tpp.IsTypeString local i=Tpp.IsTypeNumber local i=bit.bnot local i,i,i=bit.band,bit.bor,bit.bxor Repeatedly declaring a variable with the sam...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
So what am I missing about the Lua files in FPKs? I extracted them with MGSV_FPK_Tool, then tried to run MGSV_ResDec on them but it just says 'This file is not encrypted'.
