Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
That was easier than I thought. StrCode32 is the same hash function that's used to look up the Ground Zeroes g0s files and to decrypt lua files (CityHash64WithSeeds). I could add a dictionary to LangTool so that the strings can be found by their code. Nice, thought it might be something in the ball...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
I took some notes on these files when I was checking out Ground Zeroes in January. ... Thanks atvaark Thinking it through more, while it does seem like there's a nice system there, mention of prefabs with names that sound like common ui widgets/controls, but seems most of the actual 'driving' of th...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
yea i realize it is there but it simply doesint change anything like that lua does and im unsure why another modder Fraridr brought it up to me and it doesint work im not sure why only that lua file will affect the unlock system and there no specific reason for it we have to wait for an update anyw...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
It's the only file in the game calling the function TppMotherBaseManagement.RegCstDev and most of the data like in your file https://imgur.com/BCZQ61T So something's not going right with your repacking I guess. I do see the qar tool on nexus is out of date, so from this thread: https://www.dropbox.c...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
updated mod looks like they moved the DLC im guessing the unlock is probly in cloud storage similiar to FOB stuff http://www.nexusmods.com/metalgearsolidvtpp/mods/129/? You appear to be using an old lua file, during one of the game patches parameter p36 was added to all tables, and also 7 new table...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Seeing that all the mission parameters are being defined in .lua, 1. how hard would it be to add, for example, more extreme/subsistance versions of already existing missions to the mission list? 2. how hard would it be to add completely new missions? My mod lets you switch on subsistence mode, and/...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
GzsTool v0.5 will support adding files to dat, fpk, fpkd and pftxs archives and fix some issues with hashes getting calculated incorrectly. This should fix the problems people have been reporting with repacked dat files. Do you mean adding actual new files? If so I can't see any usage examples of h...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
So I see people are talking about an update that made the .dats in the 0 folder a bit bigger. All they did was add in the dlc outfit icons textures. The actual dlc models are coming october the 20th as they were originally planned before they got leaked on xbox live. They updated a bunch of the lua...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Hey guys, I'm putting out a test release of my mod manager. If anyone would be willing to help me test it that would be fantastic. Download Here You can use the included "makebite" to make mod files and SnakeBite to install them. Bit of a late reply to your actual stuff, a bit burned out ...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
I was trying to update my real weapon names mod, but can't unpack the new 2c91cbff1005.fpk (maybe emoose has that file correctly named now LOL) which contains the language lng2 files with additional entries. Nothing I tried would work on it, but I've had weird "rights usage" problems with...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
On a side note: I'm trying to rebuild FPK files by generating XML data for GzsTool to use but the game doesn't accept them sometimes. I read somewhere that the files are stored in alphabetical order - is this necessary for the game to read them? Likewise I've never had any luck with having the game...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Not yet, had a look over but couldn't really understand it much, if you could break it down that could be helpful :) Mission codes (from TppDefine.lua MISSION_LIST, SYS_MISSION_ID) _.MISSION_LIST={"10010","10020","10030","10036","10043","10033&...

Re: Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zeroes/Phantom Pain g0s archiv
Edit: Might I suggest we get a wiki going with all of the inner workings of the fox data structure? I have learned a lot from looking at the code for GzsTool but I think it would be good to create some reference documentation to go alongside future development :) Been thinking about a MGSV modding ...
