Re: Need For Speed Porsche 2000 tracks .crp
I know that's how someone else converted a track, it just... is painfully slow, and I don't know if it will work with modern computers, which says a lot about when the software was made and wasn't really available

Re: Need For Speed Porsche 2000 tracks .crp
Scrap Studio https://we.tl/t-cJ8444y1gz I'm not sure if it will work on modern computers, I used it with Win2000 and WinXP. I know ZModeler 1.xx still works, but if everything else will work, I have no idea. Also, for locked files, ask the person who made the mod, the whole reason it's locked is so ...

There's an unpacker that exists for the RR series now. Sort of a 'finally!' thing.

Re: Ridge Racer 7 [Car & Track samples included]
That looks cool, I'm no good with converting via hex. But yeah, part of why I'm wanting a script or some way to easily convert them is the game has like, 40 cars and a bunch with variations like that. And this doesn't even start to look at the tracks, which is a whole other story.

Ridge Racer 7 [Car & Track samples included]
So, as the RR7 internal archives can now be dumped, I was curious if there's anyone who can make a script to convert or import them. The main folder has over 2000 files, and an ungodly amount of models, so a quick way to convert them all would be rather nice. Sample of a car and track below. https:/...

Ridge Racer DS [Multiple sample files]
So, I have brought my clueless self here to ask if anyone's got any idea how to get these DS files? I'm aware of N64 version of this game, but I was hoping to be able to get entire track models in one fell swoop, opposed to grabbing bits and pieces of tracks and manually stitching them all together....

Re: Ridge Racer Accelerated [iOS | *.DAT file]
Okay... Now, I'm even more confounded, looking at the files in Notepad++, I'm seeing that the info file can be read, but I haven't really seen anything else that can be read, or.. really, anything to tell me what any of these files are to begin with, feeling rather lost

Ridge Racer Accelerated [iOS | *.DAT file]
So, I was able to figure out how I could get RR Slipstream models with NinjaRipper and an Android emulator, which did what I needed it to, since I couldn't make heads or tails of the advanced mesh reaper program that was used to import the Slipstream SCX's, so I've been slowly trying to figure out h...

RenderDoc and RPCS3
So, I found that RenderDoc does work with RPCS3, but it also seems that everything that was built to work with it seems to have broken at some point. The Blender PIX CSV importer does nothing, simply throwing an error when trying to import a CSV exported from RenderDoc, and there was a CSV to OBJ co...

Re: Ridge Racer Slipstream [*.OCX]
Wow, I fundamentally KNOW they are SCX files, cause I looked at them. I don't know how I got hooked on saying OCX. Especially since S and O are on opposite sides of the keyboard, but alright. And, I'd love to know how you imported that, especially since the tracks appear to be.. more or less like le...

Ridge Racer Slipstream [*.SCX]
I was wondering if anyone has any experience with SCX files, which is what Ridge Racer Slipstream uses. There are a few others, but I know about the PVR textures, they're annoying, but can be worked with, the SCX files on the other hand are a mystery to me. https://we.tl/t-is0Hm1vUGj ~ Car https://w...

Cabela's 4x4 Off-Road Adventure 3 [.model / .skin]
I was wondering if anyone has figured this one out yet, I've got a zip for 'Car1' which was extracted from the games ARC file. Linked below is the zip file, I was wondering if anyone smarter than me would be able to make a MaxScript or something similar to import the model. The textures are just TGA...

Re: Forza Motorsport Resource Extraction (.carbin)
So, I have an interesting question with all this. Is there any way to take one of the liveries downloaded from the design shop in FH3 and apply that to a dumped model? I already have models that I can easily import, but I'd like a livery, and preferribly not having to manually repaint the livery in ...
