Re: [WIP] Star Ocean Anamnesis Tools
cc0001_b02a.asf does incorrect the weight of eyes. Incorrect or no weight? Both eye meshes seem to have no weight data, so they are exported as non-skinned. cc0002_b01a.asf had incorrect UV coordinates of the eyes. Eyes seem fine to me. Is it not like this with you? https://i.imgur.com/9YCOcS5.png ...

Re: [WIP] Star Ocean Anamnesis Tools
Some models have UV damage(ex, cc0001_b02a lenath shield and hands), There seems to be bunch of different vertex block types, so the uv offset/type was wrong for some meshes. You can download the updated tool from the link in the first post. It should fix the uv of that char. Also I have improved t...

Re: Monster Hunter World Textures
Looks like standard block compression. Using daemon1's tool : viewtopic.php?f=18&t=16461

Btw try asking questions related to textures in the "Graphic file formats" section. I think it would be better suited there.

Star Ocean Anamnesis Tools
I have managed to make a working tool for loading the character/monster models. So I have decided to release it with some other tools I have been using. Decompress ASF (possibly other files too) Most of the character files use compression type 7 (zstd). You can use this to decompress them : https://...

Re: SOA graphic assets
Btw type 7 can be unpacked now. I have mostly used it for models, but might be useful for some texture files too. Check out this thread : http://zenhax.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=7149

Nope. Use daemon's tool for the ps3 version : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=16499ebross67 wrote:Will this tool work on the PS3 .pak files of The Last of Us?

Re: Netease Games Tool + Research (Onmyoji, RoS, RMA etc.)
The bms script should work with the classic Onmyoji, unless they changed something. If you are trying to unpack Onmyoji Arena, it won't work.wansf wrote:how to extract dat from nxpk? the bms script return memory error on onmyoji npk

Re: Netease Games Tool + Research (Onmyoji, RoS, RMA etc.)
I updated the first post. What's new - Posted model/texture extractor for Forever 7th Capital NPK files - Viewer now reads the correct data for meshes that have multiple uv channels - Fixed bone transformations for some models Issues - For some models bone transformations are still wrong. Depending ...

Re: Star Ocean Anamnesis
I gave this a try, but no luck. I am fairly convinced that these methods are used (or a variation) : Article1 , Article2 . Code samples are available too, but I just couldn't make it work with the indices of this game. From the files I checked the minimum values in the index lists were like 30, 40. ...

Re: SOA graphic assets
Now that the old SLZ format can be decrypted correctly, I'll try looking into how to unpack the unknown type I mentioned above. I am not sure if it will help at all with unpacking. The part I added xors the file after unpacking, so you still need to figure out the compression first. Also I have not...

Re: SOA graphic assets
I am not very familiar with bms myself, but the attached script should do the trick. It xors the file before saving.Sorans wrote: EDIT: Would it be viable to edit the SLZ script to do what you said above, instead of XORing the file afterwards? (I'm not very familiar with the syntax yet)

Re: SOA graphic assets
Those scanline artifacts seem to be because of the decryption. I think the bms script for the slz files isn't perfect yet. You need to xor every 5th byte of 8 byte iterations, with 0x20 . I mean like read 4 bytes, xor the 5th with 0x20 , and read 3 bytes. It seems to produce the correct result. soa_...

Re: UModel (Unreal Engine) - Normals Request
Not much to look at really. From what I have understood UModel is already able to read the normals, it just won't export them. A small modification to the UModel to write the normals to a text file or something should be enough.

Re: Rebellious Million Arthur Tool + Research
Hope akadebur finish his own work and then release the tool asap. I am more or less done with it. Just too busy/lazy to finalize it and upload :D It will be a seperate tool for unpacking model and texture files from the NPK archive. I just made slight changes to the viewer However, from what I have...
