Re: Idolmaster (DereSte) 3d site

Did you get the animations bundle from the manifest? How is it named, also does it include head/face animations? It's a bit of a chore to redo the entire face animation in 3dmax Bundles that contain animation clips are named like this : "3d_cutt_an_chr_son9006_01_legacy". Head animations are includ...

Re: Idolmaster (DereSte) 3d site

Do you extracted the animations using UnityEx ? How do you process it in Unity? No, I didn't use any third party tool, just the Unity itself. Loaded the asset bundle containing the clip using AssetBundle class, and got the animation clip. It can be saved to disk with the AssetDatabase class but it ...

Re: Idolmaster (DereSte) 3d site

I was able to get the animation clips extracted, but can't provide a tool for it because I used some Unity Editor functionality. I can share the animations as fbx if anyone is interested.

Yes, it would be good if you can tell me what files cause the problem.

Also do they load fine without the skeleton or are there still missing meshes?

Are you using the latest version? I updated the program on 9th of March.

If yes, from what file did you extract the textures?

It looks like I made a slight offset mistake which affected some of the models. I fixed it and updated the download link. You should be able to load Tommy fine now.

Re: Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

I released a new version of the viewer that supports skeleton. You can see the changes in the first post.

Huge thanks to daemon1 for his awesome work with tutorials and for answering my questions.

Thank you, you made it really easy to understand. I will try to adapt it to code and read the weights programmatically.

Re: Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

Was my tutorial any helpful to you? Do I have to proceed with next parts showing how to extract bones/weights? Yes, I found it really helpful. I am not that experienced with finding data in hex, so it gave me a general idea on how to proceed and find the offset tables. Another video showing how to ...

Re: Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

No one has access to them, so what's the point? I guess that question is directed towards me, right? Actually I made this tool for luxox and myself. He contacted me saying that he managed to get the last of us ps4 files and that he was able to rip some meshes manually. So I thought of making a view...

Nice to see that you managed to read the skeleton data. Did you take a look at the animation files?

Re: Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

This is an excellent tool, thanks! I am new at this, but how do I view models from Luxox's thread ( viewtopic.php?f=10&t=15801 )? The smaller < 10mb files work fine on the tool, but the 300mb file does not work. Just not sure how to work the pak files The viewer works for separate actor50 files (ch...

Re: Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

how you are calculating these offsets to the vertex and index data? . Those offsets are not from the beginning of the file, they are from the starting offset of their respective blocks. In pak files not all of the mesh data is in one place, it is divided into seperate blocks. For example let's say ...

Re: Last of Us Model Viewer/Extractor (PS4)

Viewers and characters are nice, but as a coder, we would like to see some discussion on formats, algorithms, or code. There is no real algorithm that can bring you further, it is just like pattern matching program designed specifically for The Last of Us pak files. Let me explain how the program w...
