Re: [HELP]Sanae3d raiderz PLUGIN
hmm I probably should have taken out the test codes. Didn't know cProfile isn't a standard module. EDIT: hmm it looks like a lot of the modules don't come with blender or python 2.6.2 I might have to re-do the entire blender thing (which means I have to refresh my memory on how blender works) I'll w...

Re: Why no Video file formats?
I'd be interested in what kind of things devs do with their videos.
Do they write their own codecs?
Do they just screw around with encryption/compression?

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I've never played with animations before but is there some sort of animation technique that allows you to define a particular set of ... animations ... and re-use it for an arbitrary model? Like for example if someone writes a set of dance sequences and wants a bunch of random models to follow it.

Re: [HELP]Sanae3d raiderz PLUGIN
If the tutorial doesn't work then I'm not sure what the issue is. I don't use blender all that much (it is for blender 2.49 only) so if something goes wrong I don't know what the problem would be. It is (supposed to be) a full blender plugin, not an import script. You need to copy the whole Sanae3D ...

Re: [request] Ikki Tousen: Shining Dragon [PS2] *.MPD conver
Hmm that's interesting I thought all PS2 formats were big-endian?
EDIT: lol fatduck's importer already supports this game.
Doesn't look like there are any VIF tags and everything's little endian.

Re: Unswizzling images
Twiddling?
Anyways it looks like python provides a picture module for manipulating pixels. I guess I could play around with that and see where I get.

Unswizzling images
Any techniques to unswizzling images? Approaches? Any libraries that would make it easier? Preferably in python cause I can quickly throw stuff at it and look at the results. I imagine it boils down to pixel manipulation (for..bitmap images anyways), like just shifting these pixels here, maybe rotat...

I guess whoever wants free licenses they know where to go lol.
I'm guessing pepakura allows obj importing (and maybe other formats)?

Re: Pepakura .PBO to Metasequoia .MQO Conversion Script
lol I was wondering why your BRS script looked familiar. I don't have any pepakura models for that particular format (they have different versions), but the version I have gives string lengths. Now that I look at it...it's a very simple format. I think last year I thought it was really complicated. ...

Just download http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ye67dkt02ds5cs5
Install Python 2.7
And it should work on command-line.
If you want to use blender...it works for blender 2.49.
