Wow I feel like I learned more from the article than my random Wiki explorations lol. Definitely written in a concise fashion, assuming little prior knowledge of graphics. All the other properties should make more sense now.
Now I kind of have some idea how to inspect pixel data.

Re: LithTech dtx and calculating pixeldata size
Lol that's amusing, cause those are the only ones I can open more often. I think there are mipmaps in there as well, and but that shouldn't be my issue atm. I was reading about dtx and some people distinguish between lithtech and nexon format, but I don't think they are that different.

Re: .dat decrypt
Just cause an older version used csv doesn't mean the new version will. Well the good news is you can find almost all of the strings in the .dat file as well, so that would suggest it is the same data just stored in a different way now. Guess you'll have to ask the server guys to go grab a copy of t...

Re: LithTech dtx and calculating pixeldata size
Ya, I've handled the cases where the dimensions are stored in different places. I think it is my pixel format. I mean, it works for some of them, but it doesn't work for the rest. It's like if I'm lucky, I'll just happen to get something. Guess I'll have to spend some time reading about image formats.

Re: Universal Century Gundam Online .DET
Ugh lol if you look around you'll see lots of code. I wonder if that blowfish algorithm is just the common one used everywhere.
Maybe someone already wrote a stand-alone tool for decrypting them.

Re: Universal Century Gundam Online .DET
Anyone how to decrypt/decompress the map DET's? The ones in the OBJECT folder. Anyways there sort of seems to be some matrices at the bottom of the file, but I can't get past those "script data" chunks. I've updated the script to load those other models that had some extra data at the top,...

Re: LithTech dtx and calculating pixeldata size
Hmm, it looks like one format of the dtx works, but the other format doesn't.
I don't see that much of a difference between the two. What's the problem?

Re: Beast Sacrifice
Here's some more files.
Maybe there's a better way to figure out the XOR key.
The sxm file is not a binary .x file.
It might be ascii .x, don't know.
sxt file is just a bmp file, but I don't have the width or height...

Re: How to extract Busou Shinki bin file.
Does your friend have the client? lol
I'm actually surprised I can't find the client anywhere common. It wasn't a popular game?
fatduck, can't find it on any chinese file-share hosts?

Oh, mugs are a great idea.
I've been wanting to get a new one.
I see a lot of people agree with mugs

Re: Beast Sacrifice
LOL, they decided to encrypt the file with their 4-byte key, but the leftover bytes they just ignored and didn't bother doing the swap either >.> Which makes sense I guess. It's not like you can do much with leftover bytes... Well now the situation is pretty clear. Here's some horribly ugly code I p...
