Re: Scions of Fate 2
I think the problem is that I've never actually worked with a 3D editor, like rigging a model, to get an idea what kind of things I'm working with. Looking at existing code might give an idea which functions to use, but it doesn't really explain why they were used and what made you use them that way...

Re: Need help identify Yulgang files viewer/exporter
I looked at the game before and got textured meshes out but I don't remember where I put the script (doesn't seem to be in my dropbox) or what I called it. http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=7206 Lol this is awkward. EDIT: turns out I never wrote a noesis plugin for it. I wrote one usi...

Re: [Error - QuickBms] Lzma file
Don't know much about audio but is there only way to produce wav files? Or are there various different types and formats? Maybe the wav should be encoded in a specific format so that it matches the one used in the game, so you'd have to then do some more research into what kind of techniques they've...

Re: scarlet legacy fail import with noesis
noeStrFromBytes is part of inc_noesis, so you don't need self.

Re: scarlet legacy fail import with noesis
That means it is expecting an attribute called self.inFile, which you probably deleted.
So you shouldn't delete it.

Try it out...? Your computer isn't going to explode if it doesn't work.

Re: scarlet legacy fail import with noesis
Most of them you don't need. I've only used matList and texList cause that's all I did.
The paths are not important either for the most part.

Mecha game from Snail. Game is now closed (well, the one I saw anyways), but the client is still available on gaming sites. Sort of reminds me of the gears in xenogear lol http://i.imgur.com/Ht4hi.jpg Same format as http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=3451 # Game: HotDance / 5 Street # ...

Re: scarlet legacy fail import with noesis
One issue with python is that all whitespace must be consistent. Either you use spaces, or you use tabs, but not both. And the amount of spacing must be exactly as expected.
You're supposed to delete the super call as well since you're no longer using it.

Re: Flame Dragon Plus
A different set of saf files. Similar format, but may contain more information since it's different types of images. Looking a little further, it's possible that an animation sequence is stored in a single saf file. So for example, I unpacked an archive called "fight" which probably contai...

General MIDI
I've got a file from a DOS game that contains data with the following string:
"General MIDI (Roland MPU-401 interface or 100% compatible)"
Are there any specs for this format or something that can play it?
