They might be two completely different formats.
If it isn't chunk-based (cause different XAC versions here are basically the same format, then it's likely something else.

Re: So many (disk) image formats...
It's a PC game. But I will try that.
EDIT: tried alcohol 52% first and it loaded up. Lol daemon can't read it
Looks like it was created using disc juggler. But really, why? PC game using a dreamcast format? That doesn't make sense to me at all.

So many (disk) image formats...
Just downloaded an image and it had a .cdi extension.
Currently looking around for something that can mount it...Daemon isn't reading the contents. Maybe it's corrupt.
But seriously why are there so many formats? Why not just everyone stick with one format like ISO?

Re: Queen's Blade MMO
Send me the file.
I don't have any while loops or jumping to specific offsets in the file (that the script might loop on) so it probably is a different issue.

SWF unpacker
Does anyone have an unpacker for SWF files?
The ones that start with FWS or CWS (compressed)
I've been using sothink decompiler but it's too slow for straight dumping.

Re: Kung Fu Strike: The Warriors Rise (*.a3d)
It's just a sequence of mesh structs. After the section with the different chunks there are some more structs struct Mesh { int[2] nulls int numVerts int numIdx # index buffer int numSections # vertex, normal, uv buffers, other buffers int count1 Unk1[count1] unks int count2 Unk2[count2] ... int cou...

Re: Dark Souls - modding
Models are the same format as the console version, and neither have had too much progress I think.
Some nice maps were exported though.

Re: How to speed up your QuickBMS scripts
Is the reason for dropping the append for purely I/O reasons? Or is there something else to it?
