Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

Is there a way to retain original names and stuff when exporting?
For ex, original bone names, mesh names, etc.

If it already does that, maybe I'm not doing something right.

chrrox, there's a PC version? :|

ah, that's probably why.
I didn't realize there were options lol

I wonder if the sequel just re-uses models.

Re: [Help]Noesis Error-Reading GMO extracted from PSP

Hmm I tried to unpac it but the filesizes seem a lot smaller than the files you uploaded (all of them are about 1/3 the size)

Is it for a specific version of the game? I'm just dropping pac files over the unpac'er.

Try flipping the UV's when you're exporting the model.

Newb at model conversion

I have a model file stored in binary format and am planning to figure out how to get the information required to convert it to a more common format. I skimmed through it in a hex editor and found some readable parts. It starts off with "objf" and then followed by a couple lines that are na...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

Maybe try reinstalling the runtime libs? (don't put them in your plugins folder, either, as you should never need to do that) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=32bc1bee-a3f9-4c13-9c99-220b62a191ee&displaylang=en I have no idea what kind of horror this could inflict on ...

DoA4 tool may be able to use a macro to automate...don't know if python GUI can be recognized using AutoIt.

Re: Games to extract maps/environments from

Probably, but I was going through threads like dynasty warrior 7 and although the models were ripped, none of the maps were. And some games probably don't even store the maps as models, or maybe just have a million pieces and puts it together somehow. I was going through some MMO's and couldn't get ...

Games to extract maps/environments from

I went through the sticky up up there but that seemed to be about 3D models in general. I prefer background objects like terrain and architecture, and having a large variety of them would allow me to put together all sorts of random things. Maybe we can compile a list of games where maps can be extr...

Re: Megami Tensei - Imagine: model UV's

lol I got it.

But it was more complicated than I thought.

First I had to negate one of the vertex positions.
Then I had to multiply all v's by -1
Then I had to swap the the y and z vertices
Then I had to swap the UV coords for the y and z vertices to reflect the previous change

Re: Megami Tensei - Imagine: model UV's

Hmm...I just came across this model: http://i.imgur.com/RXa1Z.jpg I ran it through noesis by flipping UV and got this http://i.imgur.com/unJLe.jpg I think the fact that the model itself is mirrored might be the reason why the words are mirrored So much for problem identification on my part :| This l...

Megami Tensei - Imagine: model UV's

I have a question about UV's. I just exported some models and textures from megami tensei: Imagine using nifscope and found that the textures were all messed up. I've seen people do UV-flipping so I figured that might be the problem. Since nifscope exports in obj, I put that through noesis since it ...
