http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=6936 Chrrox says to just add the header, but I don't know if there's a way to do it automatically. Also, SM format is very similar to SKEM format except it doesn't have the two structs with 4 floats each, so you can just take out the code that iterate...

That works. Though, in this day and age, I want to be able to handle unicode as well. That would make it cooler. Well, it does say the script is to import models with bones and weights.
Though, one can assume the format is similar for unskinned models so one might use chrrox's script as reference.

lol there's a lot of information, both from reading the bmp and about DXTn.
Maybe someone can make a simple tutorial to build a bmp file so people have an idea of a working process rather than trying to figure it out from finished products or pure specs.
