A tool may allow you to edit everything there is for a particular game, but it might be too hard to use, or "could be better"

Bump. I might just manually copy out some nif files cause it's not encrypted/compressed until someone figures out how the archives are referring to each other. Are you sure your game is supported by the maxscript? Chrrox said it works for 2011 models but other people were complaining about 2012 models not being loaded. I don't know if he updated it afterwards. And milkshape, don't know what their plugin imports. You seem to want 2012 models from your numer...

if possible you should create a standalone tool which exports and imports to already existing formats, or make an easy format that others can follow. that way it opens the door to a wider selection of editing software. I think that's the whole point of using blender or 3dmax for importing so users ...

I would like a link to the tutorial category somewhere so anyone can access all tutorials quickly.
