Probably. I'm surprised such a technique is actually reliable to some extent, considering the results and how many PS2 models they can rip like that. Though, manual work is always error-prone, and yes, realizing that there are so many steps involved only increases the chances of messing up somewhere...

Nope. I used the guide to seek to the specific offsets but couldn't get anything. Their tool might be doing something special. Actually, upload the raw .mesh file, I've written a parser for the ogre binary mesh format already.

Nope. Maybe you have to use the ogre utility on the xml, and then import. Some ogre utility mentioned in the guide anyways

I've never used their method to do things, but if you read the "how to extract meshes" article I think it gives you a general step-by-step guide to do things. These specific game articles just describe where you might find the info. You're feeding in vertex info, which are just the points,...
