Re: Unigine 3d models extract

I wonder if they use their own proprietary format for models.

Re: [Request]Shinkon Gattai Godannar.

What do you mean, not so attractive by others? The format isn't difficult, as was stated earlier. It simply requires a little effort... Ya, it isn't difficult...from someone who's spent much time looking at PS2 stuff. I didn't even know about VIF tags until someone mentioned it. If there were bette...

Re: [REQUEST]Shaiya (MMORPG) file import/conversion

You can open the model in any 3D editor, scale it down manually, and then export it to the shaiya format.

Re: LithTech Models (.abc, .ltb)

Ok cool I figured out the geometry. Previously I got it all wrong lol It now parses the atlantis model, and all the might and magic models correctly as well. I don't know which version these abc files are, but I haven't seen any other versions either to figure out how to check. Now the next step is ...

Re: Gui Chui Deng Online

The offsets seem ok. But then there are times where you see another integer that appears to indicate the number of filenames are in the sequence. Then there's the weird cases where you have reached the end of the filename, but the offset after has an FF in there. So for example the file table starts...

Script updated to load the rest of the models (rooms and monsters).

It was just a different vertex type (52 bytes vs 56 bytes)

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

Does anyone know how to parse XML files using python's XML libraries in noesis? Also, I'm working with a format that stores a bunch of images in a single external file. I have written a function to go and open the file and parse the data, and create a bunch of texture objects in my tex list. Is ther...

Re: Gui Chui Deng Online

Not really. You just have to look at some strings and determine how they are pieces together. It doesn't look like a simple double loop will work, but the integers might mean something. You will notice that the names near the end of the filenames section will contain a bunch of extensions, while the...

Re: [Request]Shinkon Gattai Godannar.

I wouldn't mind looking at PS2 formats if the only special thing to know about are those VIF tags. Like, a spec on what the common commands mean and how they should be dealt with.

Or better yet, a library that already handles all of those tags so I can just call them if I run into one...

Re: Gui Chui Deng Online

If you can figure out how to collect parts of the filename together then it will be fine. You don't even need to know hex; just look at the strings and try to think about how they're put together. I think the easiest to start with will be data3.spf, since there seems to be only 4 names... Anyways it...
