Re: Common Animation compression from PS2 Era

I decided to add the data for a single frame animation. Most frames are 164b but some times they are over 176b i think these ones include extra bone/object data or maybe translation data (this is often not stored in game animation of ps2 era as translation is done by code). when I assumed the extra ...

Common Animation compression from PS2 Era

Hi I have been looking into some animation files from old ps2 games. Every time I manage to figure out the file structure i always get stuck at the very final step - getting the position or rotation data. I was wondering if i could get a compilation of games with extracted animation from the 2001-20...

Re: Some idea how x86 works, can I reverse algorithms now?

I was just about to ask how to find file loading in an assembler. Every time I found references to the file i am looking for it was always in the data section so i cant debug it/break point

I found the animation files .key (key for keyframe) and was able to decipher their structure #region support structur...

Re: Virtual PS2 debugging

Please don't hate me for reviving this thread but any progress on this. I just started to learn MIPS (over coming a fear of assembly) and i was hoping it would make deciphering file formats a bit easier At the moment i just dump the pcsx2 process and open it with ps2dis, probably stupid but i dont k...
