Re: need help! What compression on Gears of War?

Can you guys give more information about this type of " conversion " ( lzo and stuff ) because, after talking to Gildor, it's confirmed that some of Medal Of Honor Airborne archives are not really Unreal Engine archives ( even with .xxx extension ). I tried your method with all the tools that Savage...

Re: need help! What compression on Gears of War?

So, if I resume it well: we've got to decompress the file ( with lzo ) to properly access a .xxx file?

Re: [PC] Crysis 3 sounds converting problem

Hi guys, is somebody finally find a solution about IMA ADPCM sounds into .fsb from Crysis 3 ( or Warface )? I tried ToWav and some VLC tests on them ( 0x00000091 or 0x00000090 unknown flag, according to FsbExtractor ) but it's not working. So, any help will be appreciated. Thanks mates. PS: Raw samp...

Re: Extracting audio from The Wolf Among Us

Try that command line in the batch file:

Code: Select all

for %%i in (*.fsb) do "%CD%\fsbext.exe" %%i
pause
The fsbext.exe has to be in the same folder as the .bat file and .fsb file. This command will dump any .fsb in that folder, so put all the .fsb files in it and you're ready to go.

Cordialy.

Re: PayDay 2 sounds

What's the format of your filenames? Are they similar to 3ad1623850608243.0.bd007e20bc2b61af? Yes, they are. The audioformat for the files I checked is ADPCM with 64 samples per block (they use wwise for audio), so it would be pretty simple to write a tool to convert them to PCM. Oh really? Well, I...

Re: PayDay 2 sounds

So, if I understood it right, I have to create a batch file that check the hash " 09E2DB206ACBCB09 " in extracted files. Subsequently, matched files will be renamed as .wav files. I am right? Well, I'll got to do some research about hash checking with the command line, in that case, because I didn't...

Re: PayDay 2 sounds

Files inside the bundles are found by two hashes each: one for the extension, another for path + name. So if you get filenames containing the extension hash after extracting, you can just batch rename them. That's exactly what I want to do but I don't know how to do it. Can you give me a hand ( for...

Re: PayDay 2 sounds

Hey mates I'm back for one last thing: I just discover that the PaydayBundleFile tool was interpreting some .wav riff files as other extensions during extraction ( like .bin and .dds ). http://uppix.net/c1IHav.jpg So, I have an idea but I don't know if it's possible: Extract all the files without an...

PayDay 2 sounds

Hey mates, So, to be brief, I found a way to convert IMA ADPCM sounds from " PayDay: The Heist " with this topic and tried to redo that technique on " PayDay 2 Beta " but, as you can guess, if I'm here it's because it's not working. Indeed, when I drag the processed sound ( with ima_rejigger2 ) in A...

Re: [XBOX360] Red Dead Redemption .awc audio file format

It appears to contain two XMA mono files, potentially perhaps a archive of sorts, however for some reason xma_parse gets errors and decode attempt comes back bad. FC 03 80 00 is mono marker indeed, repeated twice in the file, you can simply cut out those streams by including 6 bytes prior to the mo...

Re: Call Of Juarez Gunslinger XWB

Because that assumes an xsb file with files at that offset. this is a new custom xwb, same as dead island uses, that stores the file names in the xwb in a method not like that of the xsb. I'd just extract the xwb with unxwb using the decimal names option (instead of hex names) and then go down the ...
