It's not that we don't want to try to figure it out, it's mostly that we don't have much time, and we don't have any audio file experts amongst us that I'm aware of.

I'm fairly certain that at least the first three posted here a few times, but I'm not sure if they did so as guests or what.

It looks to me like you have a corrupt archive or something... The error message tells me that the pointer in the file indicating size points past the end of the archive. But then, maybe that particular archive isn't supported. I'm not sure.

ATM, I am playing through Enter the Matrix a second time, and am working through Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 and Tiger Wood's PGA Tour 2004 (or is it '03?). I also play a handful of other games off-and-on, including Super Mario Sunshine, Nerf ArenaBlast, NFS: Underground, Jurassic Park Operation Gene...

Welcome to the forum, Pythagoras. I can't help you, except to suggest that you try unencrypting/decompressing the file in question... I'm sorry, but I simply don't know enough. :(

In the meantime though, please share your knowledge with us at the wiki. :)

Well, if I understand you correctly, and you extracted the seven files from the Tile.DAT file, then I would say they have something to do with graphics - in my experience, files ending with a .PAL extension are often coler palette files of some sort. I'm not sure of the other extensions, although fr...

If you would like a list of the people who have contributed to the WIKI page, you can always click on 'Page history' when viewing it... It should be either in the left-hand navigation bar or along the top of the page (or both).

Well, for now, you might want to try a Google search. I guarantee that someone has written a tool to automatically add the appropriate extension, not because I've seen it, but because the WAD archives are so well known. In the meantime, I believe that Mr.Mouse is working on a feature in the BMS scri...
