Re: We need your donations. Campaign 2011
Heh, that's the first time I'd actually looked at that page; I didn't realize I was on the Xentax Foundation board...
What is the IBAN number listed there?

Google dropping support for H.264 in Chrome
Warning: link hell ahead... :ninja: Google announced last week that it is dropping support for the H.264 (MPEG-4) video codecs in Google Chrome. As a result of that, the Free Software Foundation signed up as a supporter of the WebM Project . I think it'd be pretty cool for the Xentax Foundation to g...

Re: We need your donations. Campaign 2011
I posted about the donation drive on Hacker News a few days ago, but I don't think it did much. =/

Re: Idea for spam bots
Having access to a batch post delete tool would be nice as well. Currently, I have to view, and delete, each individual post after banning the bots. Or perhaps I'm managing to overlook something, in spite of looking really hard all over the place multiple times?

Re: Happy 2011!
I don't put any stock in Nostradamus; his predictions are vague enough that they can be applied to any number of events or circumstances (and (at least according to many people), Nostradamus predicted the end of the world to be in 1999, not 2012, anyways). What you're thinking of is the idea some pe...

Kaspersky's own website would be the best place to go to find out: http://usa.kaspersky.com/products-servi ... t-security, http://usa.kaspersky.com/products-servi ... anti-virus.

Re: We need your donations. Campaign 2011
I wish I had some money to donate... :( How long do you plan on this campaign lasting, and do you have a target figure in mind? As far as third-party file hosting is concerned, obviously I'm not Mr.Mouse or Craptain, and so can't comment definitively on the matter, but I'd suspect that the reason al...

Run time error 52 in Jaeder Naub?
Every time I try to select a certain file to open in Jaeder Naub, I get an error message "Run-time error '52': bad file name or number". The file in question is a 16 GB drive image (the file directory seems to have been corrupted and I'm attempting to recover files from it), and I get the ...

Hmm... Error message, or just not appearing (or breaking horribly)?
not that I can help much, though, just my horridly overactive curiosity

Re: Spam Problem
ReCAPTCHA is what I use on another forum myself (did I already say that?
), and since it was installed almost a year ago, we've had pretty much no spam whatsoever.

Re: Zoo Tycoon savegames
I already thought of that, but Wayback doesn't display anything newer than six months old (and that's even assuming they archived the page in the first place). I also thought of Google's cache, but it seems they didn't get it either: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://wiki.x...

Re: Game File Format Central is back
Need one login for all stuff here. Yeah would be nice wouldn't it. I can't decide if you're really agreeing with techie, or just being sarcastic here. :P I remember looking years ago for ways to unify logins between MediaWiki and phpBB, but as I recall, the only stuff I found required some DB work ...
