I believe you've just achieved meta-bitchiness/annoyedness. =D

And yet, clearly not so torturous as to prevent you from commenting on just how torturous it is. =D

Re: Using highlights to help figure out formats

I've heard a lot about 010 Editor, but the $50 price tag has ensured I probably won't be able to do much with it for a while now; the free trial only lasts 30 days.

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

Keeping in mind I've never done any work with file format identification, the only conclusion I've ever been able to come to is that the only surefire, 100% guaranteed way to correctly identify a file's format anywhere near 100% of the time is to just try opening it as that format (there is a very s...

[PS2] Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses *.MRG

This request may not be very straightforward; there are 15 *.MRG files in the /data directory for this game, and looking over a few of them with XVI32, it doesn't look like there's a single overarching format at work here. Nevertheless, I'm mostly interested in getting images from them, and to that ...

Re: MSET RESEARCH PROJECT + FILES UPLOADED + SOURCES

As far as double and triple (and so on) posting is concerned, while it is generally preferred that you edit your post rather than posting again, there are situations where it is not just acceptable, but appropriate - for instance, if it's been a few hours since your last post, and you're not adding ...

NL = Dutch, PT = Portuguese, and ZH = Chinese. These are ISO 639-1 alpha-2 language codes.

PCSX2 is open source; if you have the time, you could always contribute towards better debugging support in it.

Re: I tried

I don't often do any work on files/file formats (shocking, I know!), but when I do, I usually focus on save game formats. The great thing about them is that they are literally designed to be changed, and frequently so, and this makes exploring them pretty easy (well, at least relatively to some othe...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis

This has been the behavior forever. Never noticed it before for some reason... That PSK was exported by me from 3dsmax with the official tool and it didn't have any spaces in bone names. It also imports back using Gildor's ActorX Importer and there are no spaces as well. So it should still be a bug...

Wikimedia uses Imagemagick for some of the image processing Wikimedia wikis do, for what it's worth. =)
