Hmm, I think I did something for static/props meshes. Not ssure if I uploaded this though, if not, than you could comment or delete bone import part in my script and it should work for static meshes.

You need maxscript for Dark Souls 2 not 3, though I didn't post update for Dark Souls 2 with correct bones. So, if you want some model to be converted, you could upload it here, I will convert it with correct bones (need all. hkx files which comes with this model, inside one of them there are bones)...
