I think the h2o format is a generic archive structure used by a company called Liquid Entertainment or something. I thought it was used for installer packages, not for the actual game. Here is the structure that I have come across before... +---------------------+ | Battle Realms *.h2o | +----------...
Well, if you have a hex editor, you can cut the first and last 500kb of the file and send those pieces to us, or try to upload the file to a web server somewhere. 26MB is a little too big to send via my email
Hmm OK, well maybe there are other formats that I am not aware of. I don't have the game, but a few people have sent me files from it and they have worked OK. I will take a look and see if there is anything obvious that is going wrong, otherwise I will need to look at some of the non-working archive...
Well, the archive you attached had compressed files in it - and *most* of the Madden 2005 archives do use compressed files, which is really bad for us. OK, i will need to look into the autoupdater bug. In the meantime, try this... 1. Put the attachment ZIP in the updates directory 2. Run the UpdateInstaller (not the update tool in Game Extractor!) Or this, if the above did not work... 1. Unzip the attachment to your computer 2. Open the GameExtract...
