OK here is an updated plugin for the Area 51 *.dfs archives - Take note though that some of the archives don't actually have any files in them (which is unusual) but I fixed the bugs that were stopping some of the archives from working. You should hopefully be able to use this plugin by unzipping th...

Hi mate, I took a look at it - but I don't think I found any directory in the archive at all. It does look like an archive though, so not all hope is lost. If you could, take a look in the same directory as the archive for any small files with the same name but different extension. These files will ...

Mr Mouse, Here is a script I wrote that works fully for the format, however the offsets are wrong. This is because the offsets start from the end of the directory + padding, so somehow this needs to be calculated before doing the FOR loop. However, I am not sure whether you have a modulous operator ...

Hmm nah unfortunately most game archives are different - the specs you posted are not correct for this game. Anyway attached is a plugin for Game Extractor to open the *.bag archives, but I think it only opens some of them. Just unzip the attachment into your plugins/ directory. Good luck! WATTO wat...

Hi mate, Yeah game extractor obviously can't open the archive - as is indicative of the funny filenames. However we can try to add the support if we can get a look at the archive. As the archive is quite large, you can use one of our file cutter tools to give us the information we need. Mr Mouse's t...

Excellent work Mr Mouse! At least I was partially there, which is impressive for me cause I usually can't do images or anything at all. Great work on the program too!

Just a little information on this... It is in regards to the compression method used by these files. If the archive is the same as was emailed to me, then there are 2 files in there which both look to have an in-house compression type that is commonly used for text compression, similar to an RLE sch...

Hmm yeah sorry, I was trying to avoid saying anything major like this but thought it easier then addressing each thread individually. I realise that only a small amount of the traffic is mine, and that the site it primarily for MexCom, thats why I typically try to refrain as much as possible from ad...

Game Extractor plugins for requests over the last month.
Hi guys, I have finally gone through all your requests and analysed them all! I thought I would create a single thread to say that if you posted a Game Extractor format request here over the last month or so, then I have looked at it and hopefully added support for the game in the update I just rele...

It would be good to have one that combines all the rippers out there because they all do different formats. The HyperRipper does like 35 formats or something, particularly the MPEG formats. I have a Scanner in Game Extractor which does about 15 formats, mostly images and some odd ones like webpages ...

OK well I looked at the files and they are actually archives so you will need a plugin or a script to extract the audio files from the archive. I should have a plugin for you by the end of the week.
