Does this problem occur with other PFF files , or only with the "_files.pff"?
Also, in the MultiEx Commander/data/config directory you will find a pff.bms file. Get it just when you recieved the error. And then send it to me please. Send it to mr.mouse@xentax.com. Thanks.

Hmm, can you perhaps copy the script from the script editing window and paste it here, just before you wish to save it? That will tell me more.

Re: Vietcong, Wolfenstein, Deus Ex

First what's the deal with the "malicious script" this program runs. That's what my norton antivirus shield calls it. Hmm, I don't know for sure, but I think Norton doesn't like the fact that the program retrieves the necessary multiex scripts from the internet (our multiex server), you c...

Okay, it should work now. I have replaced the zip file, just scroll up and download the new version (0.7.16). This should fix the issue with the non-compressed files. plus, it give you the choice to compress/don't compress when crating your own new TRE archives. The updated source code can be found ...

Yes, well, I haven't been able to figure out a single file in there (yet). They all seem different. You have done all the help you can, and I *really* appreciate that. :) However, I can't help at this time. I have moved to some other projects first, and my new job as PhD (junior staff) is time consu...

Ah, now we're getting somewhere! :D I suspect there's something wrong with the process whenever there are files in there that are NOT compressed. I will try to figure this out when I have time. Thanks, and be sure to have a subscription to this thread, because if i figured that out or have additiona...

Can you post the log.txt here? It will be in the directory where you saved the TREArchiver. Also, try to create a new archive, and if that works open and extract stuff from that new tre file.
