Plans/Progression for MultiEx Commander 4.0.0

Plans/Progression for MultiEx Commander 4.0.0 - Conversion of old scripts to new ones I have completed the automatic conversion of old DOS multiex 2 scripts into multiex 3. I had to write a converter to do it. Turns out the multiex 3 script lacked certain abilities that were possible in the old scr...

That's my version too. :)

Okay, well, try registering it.
To do that, go to start->run

Then type

regsvr32.exe c:\windows\system32\scrrun.dll

(or wherever your windows directory is).

Please check if that helps, because then the file was not registered by the installer maybe.

Okay, I have auto-converted all old script files to the new format. I must go through testing them prior release. I will take a look at the Populous 3 SDT format first. ;)

Okay, please go to your Windows directory and to the System32 directory in there. Find the scrrun.dll and right-click it to select "properties".
Note the version down and please post it here.

This is due to the old DOS multiex executable that runs the script for SDT. in a Windows (XP) environment it just runs very unstable. I am working on conversion of old scripts to the new ones. Then it will be extractable again and I can get rid of the old. :?

OKay, well, this problem lies with the program you are using, mw4append. It's just not written to modify these Merc files. It doesn't handle compressed files! You see, some files in there are compressed, and in the original file there will be two size variables for each resource, uncompressed size, ...
