Yes, that's about the same format I had figured out. MultiEx can handle it, string manipulation is possible in the new version.

Will create a script or maybe a plugin soon.

Nope, it's a different format (I browsed through the code of the extractor you mentioned). We'll need a new extractor...MultiEx ;)

Well, it looks like compressed .dss files in there. I haven't quite figured out which method was used. There's filenames as well, but their visible location and the logic of the archive (if it is one) is still a mystery to me.

Well, hmm, this is an altered BF plugin? It doesn't help. The crash occurs when MexCom talks to the Manager. That is still the case. :(

That's right. I'm looking for options to include support. We are working on a pluginmanager. When we get that to work, then we will start supporting it.

Yes. This is a bug. You can prevend it from happening by restarting MultiEx Commander, and doing all the things you did, but DON'T CLICK ON THE FILES FOR A PREVIEW! This is only really a problem with the BSP I think. ut try it, it works. I will remove the bug in a next version. ;)

I have noticed that error as well. Just try to select it without actually clicking it. So use TAB and cursor keys to go to the file and then click the correct file in the left window, and then the > arrow to transfer that file to the replace window. Am I making sense? The preview option is limited t...

Me neither, I did not find anything useful in there.

By the way, thanks for the email on the downtime of the forum! Although we knew it, it was up to our host to fix the problem. It seems they did!

Problem is, I don't have a full sxwad file, only a first part of one. Which was enough to figure out the format. Obviously, MultiEx Commander already runs on your computer, right? And you can extract stuff from the sxwads you have? Tell you what, you send me a small sxwad file, and I'll replace some...

Well, I don't have that game myself. Is there a demo around? Or perhaps you can send a part of that PAK file (attach it here) using a good hexeditor (saving just, say, the first 500K and the last 500k of the file).

So we can have a look-see.
