And if they are too big, get the Filecutter tool to cut the first and last part of a gob file to send it to us.

Click the link in my signature below for the tool.

Also, please note down the exact size of the gob file you use it on. We may need that.

Well, a disassembler is certainly the first thing that comes to mind.

What kind of edit do you wish to perform?

There are already dll's available that do this. Our current project will also allow these to be supported in coming versions of MultiEx Commander.

It's a per-archive type of process. It depends on wether it is supported by a plugin, or standard MexCom script. By definition, MexCom scripts will only enable replacement of files. The script is not written to support deletion. It might be in the future though. The delete option can be included if ...

Well, that's because I haven't supported replacement of files in there yet. I had trouble when I ran it. Do you have some more examples of those files. If so, please send!

Actually I tried replacing at home and it worked, but just not on your original file. That's weird.

This error was discussed earlier. Click on another file in the archive that does not give this error, and then cursor-move to the file that gives the error. Mexcom will not try to decompress it. Then select the file you wish to get in there. Click the Arrow button (pointing right). And thenactivate ...

Let's call "this program" MexCom, correct?

1. Download the zipped BMS file.
2. Start MexCom (MultiEx Commander)
3. Choose "Run custom script on..."
4. Select the BMS file
5. Select a .umd16 file

You should find yourself with the contents of the .umd file.

Actually, MultiEx Commander has not got a Unreal plugin yet (we are working on a system that will enable that though). I think you refer to Game Extractor. Anyway, here's a MultiEx Commander script that will extract the contents of the umd16 file you sent. GoTo EOF 0 ; SavePos END 0 ; Math END -= 19...
