Well, this still does not explain the Bad Calling Convention.

Which is weird then. But if you change the way the function works, that's ok.

1. Hmm, the mpGetOptions still gives a Bad Calling Convention. Doesn't that sound like a gathering of geeks calling eachother names through their cell phones? 2. You changed the string type to unicode in mpGetFormatInfo structure? TFormatInfo? It returns 0 . 0 B 0 F now for FileMask. It didn't before

Okay, but if I run the test app now, it still doesn't extract, did this work for you?
Also, how should I call mpGetOptions now? As it gives me a Bad Calling Convention.

OK, turns out it was a VERY STUPID bug in MultiEx Commander that prevented file importation. It is fixed and a new release will make it possible.
