Well, as you may know (from the thread that started .TOC support) someone send me the TOCs he found. If you open the toc, you should see the list of TRE files it refers to. Here's a script for it, you should be able to extract the files and also replace them using MultiEx Editor hopefully. For the latter, you should add the script (.bms) to your MRF file. See options for Add BMS to MRF. ImpType Standard ; Get RNum Long 0 ; For T = 1 To RNum ; Get U1 Long 0 ; SavePos FO...

That is entirely up to the programmers of the game. A lot of games use an identical trick, though. In a way, they use a .cat file (in this case) as a file stream, along with directory structures and all. They have an interpreter/intermediate/CAT-OS whatever you call it, that can be used as any file ...

By the way, these are probably the extensions of the files in the archive. .dat..txt..ini..gdd..win..cfg..saf..lad..and. .hud..ian..ins..rog..dmo..taw..sjp..fig..icd. .sav..gd2..brf..lst..smk..col..fad..fnt..ext. .lbm..iff..pcx..4e2..4ev..asc..env..map. .trg..wld..lab..opt..ssd..pak..pdl..udl..mdl. ...
