What point in compressing if they remain larger than the working ones?

After taking the peek in the sector.h file this is clear: // For each entry (0x28 bytes in lenght) byte {0x20} - Filename (null-terminated) uint32 - Offset block (blocks are 0x800 in size) uint32 - Actual size in bytes The file lists 822 files. However, at first sight they do not seem to refer to th...

I have this game, and there is separeted file "sector.h" that has filenames and perhaps offsets. I don't know what to look for in the file, but do know that the game is made from 3d tilemaps, they are probably just a 2d map that the game uses to create the 3d conterpart. It does have 3d m...

This plugin will extract from the pc0.arc files, using the .tab file only. It will not give actual filenames, but generic ones. I noticed someone said there's also other .arc files in there? That may pose a problem.

Anyway, first try version 1.1 of the Just Cause MexCom plugin.

The ones that don't play are missing a header, which is what that line of code is. Try opening a file that does play and one that doesn't side by side in a hex editor, and copy the line that you posted from the file that does play and paste it at the beginning of the file that doesn't, then save an...

Spot on! :D I was just figuring it out myself, and was staring at the file offsets not matching filenames. Then I was notified of your post and it was a done deal. ;) I have about the same specs with the unknowns. Files are padded into blocks of 0x800, is what I can add to it. Nice one, Benjamin! 8)

This time for Scarface, of course.
You can download it from http://gamefileformats.the-underdogs.in ... orer10.zip
Care to enlighten us as to the specs or do I have to reinvent the wheel?

If its empty, then the plugin will tell you the ARC was not valid. yes, the pclist.txt is empty. i forgot to install the plugin, here ...

I do not see the plugin for Just Cause in the list of detected plugins. Did you download the plugin and make a folder "arc" in the data/plugins folder of MultiEx Commander and copied the plugin there?
