Amiga Demos in DivX
Those of you that remember the Commodore Amiga days, may also have seen lots of cool demo's. These two are on my all-time favourites list. The track in this demo just raves on and on! This is a trial to see whether we can support a general bullshit forum over here at Xentax. It's the only place for your off-topic issues, such as newsworthy news, gadgetery, stories, bitchin', game reviews, game issues and all other things that made you scream "HOLY COW!". Have fun. :D PS: The Misc...

Thanks, will take a look. [EDIT]Ok, go to Options and deselect Extraction->Check for overlapping files, then it will work. If that option is set, MultiEx Commander will assume all files in the index are in sequential order. The first file in dw.pak for instance starts at 3728 and is 8794 in size ( u...

Damn, what a coincidence.SparedLife wrote:
P.S. Everytime I run MC32.exe Turbotax starts installing. I have to cancel about a half dozen times before tax deduction and Turbo stop trying to install. Then Mex starts as normal. Must have a file association to MC32 in the Turbotax registry.

Yeah, it's rather slow, but consider the fact the 300 GB of space is required to host it, that would be rather expensive if you would also want it to be fast, especially for a "hobby" project. They prolly host it themselves. Anyway, imagine the cost of having the SOASC-machine recording non-stop for...

Hmm, well, just looking at it briefly, it would seem to be a texture of 128x128 in size, it's not compressed it seems, as 128x128 = 0x4000h, and it has a palette of 256 colours probably (256xRGBAlpha = 0x400). Together this is 0x4400h, the exact size of the texture data (starts at offset 0x14h). But...
