Thank users for their posts!

Re: XeNTaX around for 20 years

Pink Floyd have this line in Time :"It's always the same, in a relative way, but you're older". It is like that. 10 years goes by like it's nothing. When you're young time is gentle on you, you don't notice it much. But once you reach your twenties, the pace is quickening. ;) Before you kn...

Re: XeNTaX around for 20 years

Nice! I like the AI projects. As a fan of Asimov's books, especially the robot novels, I've always been interested in robots and AI. I'm also a fan of Star Trek, and am fascinated by Data, the android in The Next Generation. In particular, the philosophical questions that arise when one starts to de...

Re: XeNTaX around for 20 years

You studied biology? Yeah, graduated in neurophysiology and medical physiology in 1999. Then became a PhD-student on a neuroimmunological subject and studied the (molecular) function and pharmacological properties of an orphan chemokine receptor we suspected to be involved in the central nervous sy...

Re: XeNTaX around for 20 years

Indeed. I used to think these couples that were around 22 years old and expecting a baby were foolish youngsters, when I was 22 and still studying biology. But then I realized that many people start to work full jobs from around their 18th (after high school/college) and don't go to university or ot...

Re: some suggestions for xentax !

Yes, I have been looking for phpbb3 mods to implement the Thanks/Kudos, but it seems phpbb is not that popular to mod anymore. To switch to a whole new system is now not feasible at this time. Posts have to be converted in such a case, information preserved etc. Perhaps it is better to attract peopl...

Re: XeNTaX around for 20 years

August 1988? At that time, we were creating lame 'demos' such as The Anti Demo (anti Jimmy Barnaby Software, a foolish lamer we knew).

Still, the sentence "Woohoo! It's nearly as old as me. XD" somehow makes me feel real old.......... (:

Re: some suggestions for xentax !

Ok, you mean to have it away from the MultiEx Commander forum, I think? That makes sense. We we create a new Code forum then (with subforums) or move the Code forum to the Game Research Forum?
