Re: smackdown vs raw 2010
Then try this one, it should fix the slot 10 import issue as well.

Re: smackdown vs raw 2010
Those are all of the different palettes in the game. File is attached. Do you start counting from 0 or 1? I see more palettes in the file: slot 0 - Normal slot 1 - Normal slot 2 - Greyscale slot 3 - Cool colors slot 4 - Warm colors slot 5 - Warm colors (but slight difference in one color!) slot 6 -...

Re: smackdown vs raw 2010
Haha awesome. I don't have an XBox and not even the game, so I have no way of testing stuff in game. That sort of video is great ! So, all in all, you have the option to cycle through a number of palettes, but once chosen one, you are stuck with it for that image, that slot right? Can you save image...

Re: smackdown vs raw 2010
Indeed. I took the palette from one of the other textures from a .pt file and replaced the one in the BrockSword of yours. Here's what I got (look familiar?) BrockSword_pal.png So it seems the game does not care about the palette (it has a standard one). Does the game first nag that there's somethin...

Re: smackdown vs raw 2010
Okay, so maybe I got this all wrong. The number of colours in one picture is obviously limited to 256, judging from the palette. But the RGB values of the palette can be anything, right? The game does not care about that? Or will each slot have the same palette you create? Honestly I'm not sure. (I...

Re: Deathtrap Dungeon .TEX files
Use a hex editor to cut out the first 768 bytes of the pal1.pal file and save it as "palette.act". Photoshop can then load that colour table.

Re: Deathtrap Dungeon .TEX files
Do not use megaupload again. Check the rules. Yes it is possible to do this. 14124.png That is the texture you added. Raw bitmap data of 256x256. The palette I took from the pal1.pal file (it was at the beginning of this file , 256 x RGB values (768 bytes total). You can load up the .tex file in Pho...

Re: smackdown vs raw 2010
Well, which plugin do you use brienj? I'm away from home on my laptop, don't know the exact one, but I know there are many extended options for saving BMP files on my version of Photoshop, not sure if it's the extra plugins I have, or the version I have. I'll send you the package of plugins I have,...
