Re: .Awb file format

The .bin files are actually HCA files. Change the extension to .hca :) There should be corrosponding .acb files for each .awb file. If not in the same folder, then somewhere in the files. v_etc_streamfiles.acb v_etc_streamfiles.awb v_main00_streamfiles.acb v_main00_streamfiles.awb What tool did you ...

Re: .bank sound format

This is a FMOD bank file using ogg vorbis as its codec. You will find all the tools you'll need for this endeavour here 1. Remove everything before the "FSB5" in the file using a hex editor if you're doing this to just one bank file. But if you're doing this to multiple bank files, use VGMToolbox's ...

Re: Correctly unpacking a .CVM (PS2)

Try using this
ROFS CVM To ISO Converter

If that doesn't work, you can try and remove the first 0x1800 bytes, then rename the extension from .cvs to .iso and mount it with daemon tools.

Re: Watch Dogs 2 audio

I converted it just fine using ww2ogg v0.24 and revorb. The packed codebooks switch must be used to convert it properly.

add "--pcb packed_codebooks_aoTuV_603.bin" to the command line and it should be fine.

Re: Sly 3's sly3.wad extraction?

Since Aluigi wrote the BMS script, your best bet would be to provide him the first 10MB of the .WAD on his forum Zenhax under the Game Archive section.

Re: Change File Header

Yes, I mentioned that in the other thread as well. Increasing the sample rate will just speed up the audio file, not increase it's fidelity.

Re: Change File Header

Look for "7D 00" or "00 7D"

If 7D 00 change it to BB 80
If 00 7D change it to 80 BB

Re: [xvag files] Newb need help please.

Is there no way to set output frequency in VGMStream? You'd need to change the frequency in the file header. vgmstream reads the header information and then plays it at that. Changing the output frequency won't increase the fidelity but instead make it playback faster or slower. Now that works. How...
