Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
We couldn't get the models out of Re:Chain of Memories, which implemented a much more advanced level of the PS2 software, and no one could figure out how to get the models from that. If they ever made any new PS2 games, we may never crack it. On the other hand, 3DS will probably be so similar to th...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Maybe they'll release a PS2 version of 358/2 days and then you'll have Xion's model too.
I really hope they will since I'm not 100% satisfied with the graphics on DS.
Or who knows, maybe something on the 3DS, why not?

Re: Kingdom Hearts 1 Models
I don't know if that's the case, i think the hair and cloth animation is baked, not generated. But then I could be wrong..
Part of the IK animation must be static, with exceptions such as changing a foot's position to have floor contact.

Re: Kingdom Hearts 1 Models
You are correct, KH1 and KH2 use IK to animate the arms and legs of all characters. I don't really know where the IK chains data are stored, could be in the model data itself, or the animation data. The animation data contains a simple skeleton for the IK bones, animation tracks for the IK bones an...

Re: Kingdom Hearts 1 Models
Hi, does anyone know if there is IK data in the KH1 model animation section? I made a fbx exporter for KH1 models and it currently exports mesh + bones + skinning + textures. The next step would be to export animation, but i think animations are build on IK (inverse kinematics). The tool can be foun...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
If you and the other authors are okay with it, (Falo and Revelation and anyone else I forgot - sorry), I could put all of the bms scripts, and other tools that they have contributed into one zip and upload that to mediafire so everyone has single source for the progress made so far in this thread. ...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Thank you! It's as little as the time I had for it XD. Minna-san, sorry for the disappointment... Anyway, recently I've been playing with Dissidia 012 Prologus models and rediscovered my passion for 3D once again :). ->DeviantArt http://xdeviantchris.deviantart.com/#/d382va1 I would love to bring my...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Well to attempt at getting back on-topic, ChrisSquareFan have you made any progress with Birth By Sleep models at all as you seem to be the only one who may be interested in the release of a public converter? It has been a week since you last posted here and even just something on any attempts at t...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
That's about what i am getting in KH, and is the only error i have left at the moment. http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/3406/error2kh.jpg Something to do with the way the transform needs to be handled for indices in the matrix table that are >= 0x100, i think. Still looking into it. At first i th...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
To fix flip face issue you must check a flag, and generate faces using indexes by alternating order, like this: flip = read flag, 0 or 1; for(...) //generate faces { mesh->BeginPolygon(); if(flip) { mesh->AddPolygon(j); mesh->AddPolygon(j + 1); mesh->AddPolygon(j + 2); } else { mesh->AddPolygon(j + ...
