Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Ah looks like lots of helpful information revelation. Sadly I don't know how I would go about using it as I'm a noob in such an area. Although perhaps I have something that can help. Today I came across a simple converter used for converting League of Legend's .SCO models to .OBJ models. .Sco is a p...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Well in Milkshape you select the geoset group you want to give a texture and then in the materials tab select the material with your texture and double click it to assign it or just click the assign button.
All off-topic aside is anyone trying to make any progress on this?

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Yeah the .objs are the exported models. And I will admit I have no idea how to use Blender for anything other than importing and exporting. An easy alternative I can think of is Milkshape 3D, though it's not nearly as capable as Blender, it is more simplistic and user friendly. You can start it out ...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Make sure you export the tm2 files as .png or .tga by adding that to the end of the file name.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Ah some interesting tools. Not all of them are useful to me but they're interesting. Perhaps it's just my lack of understanding on how to effectively use them together but that's fine. Anyway, has anyone made any progress at all on this? It would be great to have the model format figured out complet...

Re: Anyone know what format Kingdom Hearts Re: CoM models are?
Well I know that KH1 was MDLS and KH2 was MDLX. So hopefully it turns out actually being one of those two. I'll look into this iso buster program thanks.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
I'd like to start assisting with figuring out the model format. I'm new to reverse engineering and stuff though. So could anyone perhaps help me to go through what's already been figured out about the format so I could help out more? Or really any other format is fine. I'd just like to eventually be...

Anyone know what format Kingdom Hearts Re: CoM models are?
Hey guys I was just curious, Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 are all easily viewable thanks to yaz0r. But there doesn't seem to be much info on Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories. From what I can tell the models may be a different format but I'm not entirely sure. So far I haven't been able to dump anythin...

Re: Luna Online; How do I import a .Mod Model? Dumped with QBMS
Well this opens the .mod files great. But when I went to save the files it appears that pretty much any format you would typically use isn't saveable in the free version. I'd rather not spend the money to unlock those formats and I'm not resorting to warez. Is there a format I could save to and open...

Did you not get such files or did you extract them differently? They were in plain sight for me.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
I used Falo's BMS script. On all of the BBS# files. It does dump numbered pmo's your correct. But it also dumps named pmo's within folders. That's all there is to it.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Ah well alright. It may very well be that's how they did the lighting it just seems odd to do it that way though. If you think you have a fix for the UV data when converting I recommend you try these files: p03ex00.pmo (Terra Low Poly) and p01ex00.pmo (Ventus Low Poly) Both have UV issues. Ventus ha...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
revelation I wish I knew how to use that information you posted but I am not sure where to start as I'm inexperienced with information like that. Any advice on where to learn what it all means would be something I would look into for sure. Anyway I was curious is there an easy way to convert a big b...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
I've been able to get the normals correct after the model is converted. I have found that importing the models into Blender (free 3D program) and going into Edit Mode, Go to Mesh > Normals > Recalculate Outside. Or you could press Ctrl+N and make sure you have all the faces selected. Doing such will...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Yeah that's what I figured it'd be like. Just wanted to make sure. Haha thanks. With luck someone can make more progress on this. Especially on the UV issues with some models like Terra.
