Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
You're confusing software with hardware. And although my Vista can hardly implement it, it's updated to DirectX 10. You can update DirectX as much as you want, it's only a matter if your graphics card can handle it. And my Vista laptop handles 3D Ripper DX with ModelViewerD3D9 just fine. ModelViewer...

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
I hope he's still going to release the KH2 plugin. I glad he's still making plugins, though.

Re: Señor Casaroja's Noesis
Excellent. More Final Fantasy compatibility. I see Revelation is still helping you with PS2 models. Hopefully we'll see a third third-party plugin soon.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Not true. I have a laptop running on Windows Vista and have used 3D Ripper DX may times to rip 3D models from ModelViewerDX D3D9 and kkdf2's mdlx viewer. But yes, it cannot rip animations.Devilot wrote:more than 3D Ripper does not work on Vista and does not allow animation ripping.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
wonder if it's possible to transfer the animations of the KH games to 3ds max! maybe with a Noesis plugin :D No, not unless someone like Revelation or yaz0r or Falo or kkdf2 made such a thing due to their unique line of expertise the mdls format. God knows I have absolutely no idea how these work; ...

Re: Kingdom hearts dumping help needed!
Those entries a few posts up probably are their equivalent of nametables. The KH1Dumper just isn't properly equipped to dump them. Falo or yaz0r could probably fix their dumpers, if either of them has time.

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Half of the model viewing has come from Revelation's KH1, BBS, and soon-to-be KH2 plugins for Mr. Adult's Noesis. The other half, which involve model animation, comes from kkdf2's map & kh2 viewer & anb converter and yaz0r's KH1&2 tool. The file ripping has come mainly from Falo (did Rev...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
And Zerox appears to have just made a new DSDecmp called DSDecmpGH. I wonder what was updated. Anyway, I just used Keytotruth's latest patch to create an English iso of my Birth By Sleep Final Mix game, but I don't know how to play an iso on my PSP that isn't already on a UMD. How do I do this? I d...

Shockwave W3D
Hi. I am trying to convert the Shockwave W3D model below into a format Blender can understand, but 3DVia isn't doing it. How do I convert this file?

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Console Tool is at http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php?topic=8407.0 After you extract all the files with DSLazy, NinUnpack, and DSDecmp, use the Console Tool to view mi/wd/W01_dump/12.BTX0 and then /11/11.BMD0 to see it correctly. And propl.nl/random/ appears to have just made a new DSDecmp ca...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
Just so you know, if you unpack Re:coded, W01 11 is the destiny islands model, W01 12 is the destiny islands textures, and 13 is the bridge. I got it to work on the first Console Tool Demo 2 after finding the btx0, because the one that views the characters correctly didn't texture map correctly and ...

Re: [Request] Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep models
The textures are there, you just can't find them as easy. You're more likely to find them in the game than to map different textures onto models from another game. Besides, that entire place--both the small and large island--is already fully exportable to Blender via kkdf2's KH2map program. Really, ...
