Re: Risen 3 Titan Lords

Multiple types of vertices is fairly common these days. It is normally controlled by a flag. I assume referred to as FVF? Just basic type info really. It's useful in some games for distinguishing what part of the buffer does what and can also be size related so you know the exact sizes you need to r...

Re: Risen 3 Titan Lords

EDIT: I think I see what's wrong now. Looks like more than 1 mesh in the model file, but the header only has 1 size for the vertex block? I had the same issue with Tomb Raider. What they did was they specified 1 block of vertices and a block of face indices. You could just build the whole mesh out ...

Re: demon's souls FLV file

This will let you view the .TPF textures in Noesis for this game.

Someone requested in another thread so I figured I'd post it here too!

Re: Demon's Souls .TPF

The files look fine to me. Looks like standard DDS DXT1 only. I wrote a unpacker but you can just view them in Noesis using the script below.

Anyway you can grab the Noesis importer here:

Re: Crash Team Racing BIGFILE.BIG

Thanks, it worked! It extracted a lot of ".bin" files. (722 to be exact) ...That's indeed a lot. Unfortunately, there are no filenames. Reason is that it's not supposed to be extracted. I just did it since it can potentially make things easier so people can see where the data starts and h...

Re: Ubisoft *.tga.ckd *.png.ckd - any help

I have got the files to load in Noesis... Well most of them.... There are probably some other unsupported types but from the ones I tried they were all working. You will need to place the python script in Noesis/plugins/python then you'll be able to open them and export to other formats. Hope it hel...

Re: Ubisoft *.tga.ckd *.png.ckd - any help

Sorry, still not enough samples. It's DDS there are multiple types so I want to support them all. Furthermore, I'm concerned about how to correctly read the data located before/after the DDS type info. As a result, I will need lots of samples so I can see the relation between the counts/size of that...

Edit: Ok, I have gotten the files to load. Could you tell me which game this is, platform and provide some more samples?

Re: Crash Team Racing BIGFILE.BIG

I was working on the format days ago. The format is very simple it works like this: struct BigFile { unsigned int null; unsigned int fileCount; BigFileEntry[fileCount]; }; struct BigFileEntry { unsigned int fileAlignment; //Offset is this * 0x800 unsigned short fileUnknown00; //Possibly type info un...

Re: [PS3] Destiny Beta .PKG files

The PS3 files are "off limits" for me. It appears that they are encrypted (most likely) or are using an unknown compression. The Xbox 360 beta files can't be obtained due to the file system they use, it has not been figured how to obtain the direct files from GoD based games. I'm guessing ...

Those PS2 ones are 100% Sony's VAG audio encoding method. Very common with PS2 games.

Just look here viewtopic.php?f=10&t=11534&start=150

They are working on it, no point in multiple people working on the same thing. Just port the code when it's done or do whatever when it's released 8D

Re: Watch Dogs XBG models

The format is fairly simple.... I was working on a Noesis importer but it seems those other folks have beaten me and have done an excellent job with getting it imported into Max. I suggest you wait for that but the alignment is as simple as: bs.seek(((bs.tell() + 0x3) & ~0x3), NOESEEK_ABS)

[Request] Warface Save Game Decryption [360]

Hi I need help decrypting the save games, problem is I don't have a dev kit so I can't look into how they are encrypting the save data, it's probably similar to other CryEngine games ie, Crysis2/3.

They will be just raw XML files when decrypted...

Any ideas?
