At first sight xbox .lin files are compressed (789C header) but PS2 .lin file probably not.

I´m blocked again :(

Anyone could help? I knew vertexes must be 3 floats per coordinate but can not find a pattern that fits vn,vt or faces.

First goal reached!

I´m able to draw vertexes in both Iron Man 2 and Golden Axe-Beast rider (it took me 8 days from zero, my first time doing it :D)

Now need to find faces :scaredy:

If you own the game and a modded xbox 360 you could plug it into computer and do a rip. If not but you own the game can download a backup and work with it.

It depends on the setup, plug in your usb and install there, if no other file are stored outside the answer will be yes, but if savegames for example are in my documents folder or simillar then...

I´ll add here excel table with what I think is the pkg format (not found vertexes yet).

In iron man pkg files are closed as this ones but some data are zlib compressed.

As totally noob and after 1 week working on pkg files I discover a lot of things, but I can not find the clue that point me into where meshes info are (right nnow trying to find vertexes...) so I´m driving myself crazy :cry: I´ve got some ideas, firstly is that that info must be in third data block ...

I was playing with hex editor, files and such... Finally I was able to discover the pkg structure and was able too of extracting and decompress all strings files (in 5 languages). Hi all!!! I´m trying to extract models (textures are not necesary but not a bad goal to reach) in pkg files. I was looking over google, and forums trying to find some info, but right now I only know two games which use these kind of packages (golden axe and Iron Man2, i can figure Iron man 1 too...)...
